V8X_playlist.m3u for V8x works nice, no problem :D 10/10
But can you include subtitles into stream, it read all subtitle languages but no subtitles is shown :)
You are talking about the channel list of SATIP, right?
Maybe the data of subtitle data were not transported, we will check it.
Thank you, friend.

Alguien sabe como funciona la lista de canales qué se puede exportar a formato v8x_playlist.m3u? Como se puede utilizar? Con qué aplicación? Se puede ver fuera de la red wifi? Hay que configurar algo en el deco? Gracias

You should try it by yourself.
All channels will be exported in v8x_playlist.m3u, you just need to export it in the usb dump menu.
And then you can watch all channels of you box on what ever app that support iptv, even on PC, for example VLC.

Not sure if this has come up, but I am now getting a record error with the newest firmware. Sometimes it will record, Sometimes not.

Seems like that you need a faster usb disk to record this program.

Astute observation. The reason I ask is that same disk records just fine with my other STBs. On the V8UHD, I am getting numerous gaps in the recording on HD video. SD records OK. Does the V8UHD even have a USB 3.0 port?

Also, as a suggestion to the firmware engineers:

Could you please make the little "Rec" graphic turn off after 10 sec or so during record? It is a bit distracting while watching and recording simultaneously.

V8UHD doesn't support USB3.0.
The little "Rec" graphic indicate that you are recording.

Yes, but the graphic is pretty close to the central area of the screen. Makes it annoying to watch while recording.

Gracias
Times shift is not kept. Time shift is there to pause and watch then.

To save the program to watch when you return home, press record and set the amount of time to record.

Así es como está ahora, pero ¿No se puede hacer que el archivo se quede grabado en la memoria externa cuando se hace TS?
¿Es posible que el archivo temporal del TS se quede grabado en la memoria externa? ¿Los informáticos no pueden hacer esto?

Maybe. Have a look through the USB, but I think it is deleted after you change channel.

Encryption type not updated.

I found why a BISS channel does not auto roll each morning. (20:00 GMT, 8am NZST)
The channel reverts back to BISS later in the morning.
Asiasat 5@100.5e IMG channel 3860V30000.
This channel had changed to Tandberg encryption and the UHD still reports the old BISS "B" in the info bar.

I found this by setting up a "Test" satellite on my sat list and scaned the satellite from fresh.
This new fresh scan showed the encryption as Tandberg, not BISS as the existing satellite does.

The UHD does not update a channel for a change of encryption type.
Menu setting "OFF" for auto TP update.
Will test later with auto TP update "ON".

Below is a copy of my user file. The existing channel is on "Asiasat 5" satellite and the new scan is on "TEST" satellite.

This may have happened when GT Media updated the software so encryption types are still shown in the info bar after a second scan of the satellite.

I have a pixelation record problem with the new V8X firmware 20200910, so the pvr-recording problem is worse than before, I even try a usb fat32 to record, same problem, the file doesn´t play well the recordings in the V8x and in a PC...

<V8PRO2> <P1><Confirmed> <SAT2IP - GT SHARE>

I've tried GTShare with V8Pro2 latest firmware 2020-09-11, GTShare finds the box on network, but when playing any channel on DVB-C (I have no DVB-S on this box) gives error "Invalid data found when processing input"

I've made some network data capture to get the address used to get channel list and stream info.
"/getallservices?id=-1&count=20&page=1"

Gives-me the channel list and stream info in JSON format.

when trying to open the stream http://V8PRO2-IP-ADDRESS:81/4427_0_-412 ... _6594_7.ts

I get this message on browser.
{"msg":"This is a test page!","resultcode":1}

Don't know if this is a problem only affecting DVB-C streams.

I have no favorites in channel list.
Hello,
It works well for me with satellite (DVB-S) but I get the same error message and it doesn't work for terrestrial (DVB-T).

Newest version v212 mentions 125w TP issue fixed. Which TP? 4140V Music Choice channels still do not change the song info with v212.

Yes, when I change programs, the song info updates. But the video does not change when it is left on the same program.
