I received my V8X (not the free one) 2 days ago. loaded 04/09/2020 firmware, so far no complaints.
I have my V8UHD in the box waiting for the Music Choice on 125W to be fixed.

V8X WiFi

The wifi is not available when receiver is first powered up, to access wifi I need to power off with remote then power on with remote to get wifi access.
This is confirmed on firmware V214 and V222. I have not tested it on any other firmware versions.

Can the receiver be used for IKS?
I cannot find the option to enter the data for this feature.

I am using the latest firmware 20200910 (V222) but I am not seeing the cs protocol option to add the ccam data.

hello, on the network menu,then press 6666,you will see the option.

Solved:
I was using a power adaptor without the inline filter. I changed the power adaptor and the wifi connected on power up.
