v8UHD iptv problem

I have a V8uhd. I cannot load a m3u file for IPTV. I have tried m3u, m3u8, small files, large files, to no avail. It always says no data when I tried to load a m3u file. I am using latest firmware V220. I know that wifi network is working because youtube works. I am loading filenames called custom_url.m3u and custom_url.m3u8 but neither is recognized. Could you send me a sample file that works with V8UHD?

Here is a template with just 1 link, Unrar the file and load the m3u8 to your USB. Turn Off the unit, load the USB to your UHD

Menu

Tools

Upgrade by USB

Upgrade Mode (change to Web TV)

It should show your file on Upgrade File

Start

Wait until it finished (will re-boot)

Go to WebTV green icon

I put the m3u file to the USB not accepted , it needs m3u8 ? how to convert m3u to m3u8?
i tried extreme and put all the data server ,username ,password. also no data?
any help?

Just rename your m3u to m3u8 using your computer and follow instructions above

Regarding rename of the file didnot work
I called my provider he told me how to fill the spaces and xtreme worked well
Any way to delte or block some channels??

Just Google on your computer

First:

showing file extension on windows

This will allow your computer to show the file extension .m3u

Then,

renaming a file name in windows

You should be able to do it.

How do you get the dataserver, username, and password for xtream? is this a free or paid service?

For IPTV Free custom_url working very good. About the file custom_url.m3u custom_url.m3u8 no't working in the upgrade by usb to web tv. But the free Iptv loading in the webtv red bottom ok everything working.

So i called my provider he gave me my account data
Server,name,pass,port
Then xtreme working well
My issue now how to block some chanels from the kids?

the v8uhd is not Android platform, so you can not intall any other firmware.

You do not need an app, the IPTV is put in WEBTV custom_url.cfg and not the compressed custom_url.rar that the file inside is badly made and is not recognized by the V8UHD, it works perfectly if you have an extension and that the file does not exceed the 250kb, if it is larger, I recommend Xtream, but it has stopped working in all satellite decos since Youtube has been working, it will be a coincidence, but it is reality

I got IPTV working with iptv.txt file and that some HTTP:// m3u files that will play on VLC wont play on my V8UHD. why are they being blocked?, if so why will these M3u locations play on VLC?
