When you change the DiSEqC command setting in the antenna menu to "Disabled" it does not send any command, so your switch stays in the last port you had it set until you power off that switch.
With a DiSEqC setting on "Disabled" the unit expects that you have no switch.
If you leave that satellite to another one that has a DiSeqC port setting it will set the switch to that port.
You could use the polarity setting from Auto to V to H and then to "OFF". Off will power off your LNB and switch and default it to port one.

This is just a general settings thing.
The default when you power up a switch is port one.
All satellite units will do this as with disabled they all expect you have no switch.

4 port DiSEqC switches will be damaged if you have shorted the input with the power on.
I have done this a few times.
After the short, the port is powered on all the time. Any TP frequency that has the same IF frequency in the LNB cable will be corrupted and not viewed.
Check your 4 port switch. I use a tone type finder (the sort with the moving needle and LED's for H, V, 22kHz etc.) and set the switch to port one and check that port 2, 3 and 4 do not have power. Then do this again with port 2 set to check port one.
If you do not have a tone type finder test with one dish, set to port one and connect the dish to 2, 3, and 4 and then power on the LNB power and see if signal is received.
You could also use a multi meter to test for power on each port.

Never connect dish LNB cables with the power on.

When you open the DiSEqC 1.1 options, I move all the way down the list to the ones that offer port 1 to port 16.
As for the "1casM1 port" I never did work out what they mean.
These 1.1 options are used with 8 port uncommitted switches.
The GT Media V7 units only offer the port 1-16 options in the DiSEqC 1.1 menu.
DiSEqC 1.1 is use by 8 port switches only. DiSEqC 1.0 4 port switches will not work with those 1.1 settings.
For any 2 way or 4 way 1.0 switches, just use the port numbers for those on the 1.0 menu.

Cascade switching allows user to have a 8 port 1.1 switch first and then 4 port 1.0 switches second on each port.
8 x 4 = 32 LNB's / dishes. 22kHz switches can be used after that to double it to 64. Universal LNB's cannot use both lower and high bands be through 22kHz switches as they use 22kHz to change bands.
22kHz switches can not be use before a DiSEqC switch.

You will be able to use the diseq 1.1 settings on the nova blue, which may be just numbered as port 1 to port 8.
