V8 Pro 2 em loop Infinito
Tenho GTmedia V8 Pro 2 em loop infinito de inicialização, já tentei fazer recuvery via USB e não resolveu o problema.
GT Media please note.
This V8 Pro2 unit would boot and show the menu and then crash and re boot.
This was solved by removing the internal wifi board.

Re: V8 Pro 2 em loop Infinito
Here are my notes on flash.bin recovery.
There are two versions of the software on the download page, try both and I have attached another older one too.
flash.bin recovery is done like this.
Place a copy of the unpacked software (the .bin file) on a USB stick and rename it "flash.bin"
With the USB in the unit, power on while repeat pressing "Menu" on the remote.
The unit should reload the software.
Also other users say that you must use a USB stick, not a card holder etc and that stick must be 32Gb or under.
Use the rear USB port on units that have two ports.
I have had units that will not recover.
Try using the same software as was in the unit when it crashed, not the new update software.
You must use the correct software, ie that for the V7HD for the V7HD etc, not software for any other freesat units.
Try even older software as the file for flash.bin.
Look at the LED in the USB stick. When the TV shows the message "USB Upgrade, do not turn off" you should see the LED on the USB flash as the file is loaded.
The USB LED should also flash a few times as the unit first powers on and looks at it.
Also users have said to use the rear USB port for this on V8 units.
Good luck

Re: V8 Pro 2 em loop Infinito
As it boots and then shows a normal screen for a moment, maybe with a channel number in the display, repeat press the up or down button as this will change channel before it crashes on the channel it has.
Try also the menu button as it finishes loading, not as you power it on as that would start the usb flash.bin process.

Re: V8 Pro 2 em loop Infinito
There is a second when it shows the SCREEN after the completed boot. Have you tried to hit the Menu boton several times at that point? have you tried to remove the cover and see if its boot without it??
Re: V8 Pro 2 em loop Infinito
I added a screen shot of the moment when the menu is seen from your video.
Have you tried another power supply?
GT Media unit are supplied with 1.5A supplies, try a 2A or another 1.5 as it may be power surge as the system turns on.
Also was this video taken with the LNB cable disconnected?
A LNB short will over load the system as it starts and crash the power supply voltages.
Also if you can try booting it with the HDMI cable disconnected. Use a AV cable if you have one.
