These two functions are not for normal users, if you don't know what they are from their names.
Probably you don't need to use it.

I found I need to turn off the subtitles on each channel, not once for all channels.

The DVB-T for New Zealand worked OK thanks.

With other GT Media boxes the remote control subtitle "OFF" is off for all channels.
This is the first time I have seen this channel by channel subtitle off.

depuis la mise à jour les sous-titres sont activés par défaut sur toutes les chaînes... aussi obligé de les désactiver chaîne par chaîne...
Il serait plus simple qu'ils soient désactivés par défaut et activés au besoin...

From what Tom has said would be the best way forward, if this was done to ALL receivers, the end user would be able to set this how they wish.

It's better to set the default on OFF for all and thats because I believe people mainly watch channels on it's own language and occasionally foreign channels.
