Record Problem

Post by RecordProblem »

Unfortunately, I have the problem that recordings are always interrupted. No matter how I format the HDD.
With FAT32, the recording is canceled after approx. 45 minutes.
With NTFS after about 30 minutes
and nothing happens with exFAT.
The latest update has been installed and I would be very happy if you could help me.

added: Receiver: V8X

Have a nice day

It is a Toshiba USB 3.0 hard drive with 1 TB of storage space.
I formatted it once on the PC, unfortunately that did not bring any improvement. And of course I let the receiver format the hard drive, too, but that didn't help either.

Does this usb device need additional power supply?
Are there any other USB devices with a smaller capacity? Let’s test it.

no, the USB device does not need any additional power. It is only connected via USB and works perfectly.

Maybe it's not an attitude? Does something special have to be set in order for it to work properly?

I'll try it out with a 64GB USB stick.

If you have one try using a 2A 12V power supply instead of the GT Medai 1.5A.

Your 1Tb drive may be using too much power from the 5v supply of the V8.
