Information error in Wifi always comes out Ethernet disconnected and Ethernet connected instead of Wi-Fi disconnected and Wi-Fi connected

The problems with this V8UHD decoder are not best and as a user who has recently bought the product I cannot use the decoder for all the firmware bugs, I wish I could understand why the remote control goes slower and less fluid than an app downloaded from the PlayStore that I use to operate instead of the classic remote control by starting the mobile phone equipped with an infrared port which from my experience of use proves to be better, there is work to be do to make it usable in everyday life, this post is not an open testimony, which makes the decoder not very appreciable over time by opting for something more usable, you must fix these problems if you want me not to throw it in the landfill, indeed you have to rewrite all the software by implementing a light operating system with some apps of the PlayStore TV otherwise I do make XDA firmware better than yours hahahahaha

The V8UHD does the job, if you wanted PlayStore you should have bought the Gtmedia Combo which is what you need

DVBT channels are not tuned to 498 MHz (CH24 Russia), the antenna power is not turned off - everything worked before, but does not allow you to return to an earlier firmware ... What should I do?

More detailed:
GTMEDIA V8UHD is connected through a splitter to a DVBT2 antenna with its own amplifier (parameter Antenna Power = OFF), 3 more TVs are connected to the same splitter. When GTMEDIA V8UHD is turned off, these TVs show 30 TV channels (498, 546, 578 MHz). When GTMEDIA V8UHD is turned on, all TVs lose 10 channels at 498 MHz, and he himself does not see any signal at this frequency ...

That does sound like the antenna power is set to "ON".
This option is in the DVB-T menu.

Another way this could happen is if the cable to the roof is shared by both the UHF DVB-T antenna AND the satellite to the LNB / dish.
If the correct connection through a non power pass splitter is not used the LNB power will stop the DVB-T amp from working.

Also check that the cable to the UHD DVB-T connection is not shorted.

Do you have the DVB-T and satellite cable to the UHD the correct way around. If you connect the satellite cable to the UHF Antenna it will stop the TV's seeing channels.

First check the DVB-T menu for the antenna power setting.

Thanks, all worked well. Really the problem was with the cable or connections, it helped when everything was re-screwed. One thing is not clear to me why this affected only one frequency out of three?

I have a deco GTMEDIA V8 NOVA ORANGE and just install the new firmware and I find this problem:

When the decoder starts, it is seen on its "boot" screen, then it goes to "L009, L021, L025 and ends with L093" but it stays with the black screen on the TV.

I have tried to recover it with the flash.bin files and pressing the Menu button repeatedly but it does not start.

Is there a solution or do I have to throw it away

Trying with more firmwares renamed to flash.bin, you have to be patient not all firmwares restore it, you may need a minimum of 4 firmwares to restore it

With ref to your issue with your V8 NOVA ORANGE.
It would be best to start a new thread, you have posted in a thread which is for the V8UHD receiver.

This can happen with the weakest frequency.
It may have been the outer connection, the ground that was not connected.
If you have screw on connectors, check them as the small wires can break off and drop into the center wire to make a short, or just leave no ground connection.

Every time I change the channel from TDT to SATELLITE I get the annoying list with the 30 channels to press OK
can't you go directly to the channel?

Add the ones you like to a favorites list and change channel with in the favorites list.

The problem is that I do not like the favorites, I prefer the general list and change easily from TDT to SAT,
thanks anyway
