My GTmedia V8 nova Orange does not find channels on the 12073V tranponder on Hotbird 13 ° And with other receivers there is no problem.

Have just carried out a scan of the said transponder 12073v 29900, with a V8 NOVA ORANGE, have found just four channels.
That is using a old Sky area 2 dish, here in the UK.
What settings were you putting in to scan the said transponder, were it says (FTA) that should be (NO).

Your signal looks a bit low, you may have to check the skew of the lnb and also check the dish, plus may have to adjust the long/lat settings.
Here in the UK, i can get S95% Q75%.

STRETCH When you scanned, did you use a V8 Nova or another model?
Has the format changed to H265 or the like?

Hi, STRETCH, I have many GTmedia and non-GTmedia receivers at home and with all these there is no problem receiving this transponder.

The receiver i used to scan the said transponder, is the same as your picture V8 NOVA ORANGE, s/n V8SN1811098684, with the latest software.
The info against this transponder as per (flysat) DVB-S2/QPSK / MPEG-4HEVC.

Is the V8 Nova not equipped for this reception system?

With the GTmedia V7 s2, GTmedia V7 Pro, Edision T2 S2 there are no problems it receives the transponder and stores the 4 channels it transmits.

This morning i removed a old Mk 1, sky dish, off the side of the house, which was not in use, size of the dish would be equal to 45cm.
I then set about using this within my aerial farm, to get this aligned i used the V8 NOVA ORANGE, so i used 13e which i know has a very good signal here in the UK. Got that done, i then checked again transponder 12073v 29900, was getting a reading of S91 / Q60, carried out a scan of the transponder and Found Four channels. In getting the reading so high with this transponder, i was losing other transponders from this satellite.

Given this problem, it is no longer possible to buy this receiver, on this transponder there are two very important "Tivusat" channels for us Italians.

If you are referring to the V8 NOVA ORANGE it is still sold on Aliexpress with fast shipping from Spain.
