En mi caso me dice "el archivo no es compatible con este dispositivo"
Si me deja actualizar canales pero no el firmware. viene con el 289 de septiembre 2021

The latest file for the V8X receiver is V302 dated 14 Dec 2021.
After you have downloaded the software, you need to unzip the said file, when that is done, you then need to double click that file, which should then give you the (bin) file, which you then upgrade into the receiver.
BUT, the first thing that you MUST do, is do a BACK-UP of your Channel List and also the soft cam, that is if you have any keys in it.

Have you downloaded the V8X or the X8 software.
The V8X software is here.
Also the unit will not let you load a down grade software, one that is older then what you have in the unit.
