Hello

I just received my new GTMedia V8X box and I am trying to connect my phone to it using the GTShare app. However the phone is not finding the receiver no matter what I do. They are both on the same network and they both can be pinged. Does anybody has any idea of what is going on?

Keep trying, I'm sure it will connect and recognize it at any time, give the app time

I am also having the same issue.

Are you using iOS by chance?

I think it may have something to do with permissions for the app to access the local network.

Check out this article. Apple added this feature into iOS 14.

Unfortunately gtshare does not appear to be working correctly since this feature was added by Apple.
