GTMedia V8 UHD Multiline Subtitle bug
When subtitles are displayed that have multiple lines (I have experienced the issue with a 2 line subtitle), only one line is deleted/cleared when the subtitle is "expired".
Everything works if subtitles have multiple lines or single lines, just when the "last subtitle" (i.e. no directly following new subtitle, but a longer pause) is expired, one line stays visible until the next subtitle is shown.
This is quite annoying if "forced subtitles" are used that are only displayed from time to time. If these have 2 lines, I need to switch off the subtitles and switch them on again...

I just checked it and it works correctly, the second line is deleted
Do you have the latest version and use a new channel list?

Yes, latest version installed.
The problem does not occur if there is a one line subtitle after the two line subtitle.
It only happens, if the two line subtitle is expired and NO OTHER subtitle follows!

The failure can be caused by your channel list, it must be new

Sorry, do not understand.
What does my channel list have to do with that?
Ok, maybe we have a misunderstanding...
The issue occurs when I am playing a x265 HEVC video file, in my case it was 720p, if that should matter.

I still think that the problem is the list of channels that you have, being a database it is not the correct one for version 238MetzgerGeorg wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 5:19 amSorry, do not understand.

Sorry, but I do not get it.
What list of channels are you talking about?
The TV channels?
If so, how could they be connected to the video playback?
And what am I intended to do?
Note: After upgrading to the latest firmware, I did NOT restore any backup, I setup the device from scratch. Hard to get a "wrong" list of channels for the firmware version, I think?

Any news ?
Re: GTMedia V8 UHD Multiline Subtitle bug
It should work for you, put the firmware back through All Code and do a blind search

There is no change when playing back videos.
Note: I am not talking about TV channel viewing, only playback of video files (MKV with h265, in my case)

I made a video in h265 in Matroska and it worked for me, I should try again, I know that some YouTube videos didn't work for me, to know how they did it

Re: GTMedia V8 UHD Multiline Subtitle bug
It is important that you have a 2 line subtitle as the last text.
If you have a 2 line subtitle, then 1 line, the subtitle off, it works.
If you have a 2 line subtitle, then subtitle off, the 2nd line stays until a new subtitle has to be displayed.
It might be related to the type of subtitle? SRT or SUB or whatever?

They come out as you press the keys with STB only those of the TS, if you press TXT the others will come out
