V8x rs232 port not compatible with available cables

My v8x receiver has an rs232 black input which looks like an audio jack pin.My laptop has only usb port and I cant find a cable or converter thats compatible to upgrade to mars or down grade to v.319 firmware.My question is : which rs232 cable is compatible? I have been using usb stick but the new mars update requires an rs232 cable. Have checked amazon.alibaba,ebay,jumia,aliexpress and all they have is rs232 to usb cables and converters.Pics attached.

Witam można prosić o instrukcje jak to ogranać, chce wrócić do oryginalnego firmware.

Jakby ktos chcial wrocic do starej wersji softu na X8 V8X to mały przewodnik napisałem. Jeżeli używamy Cccam to wersja Mars jest zbędna. Stara wersja chodzi o niebo lepiej.

It is based on the PL2303GT chip. A cable based on a different version of this chip would not work. Install the drivers from the link. I'm using windows 11 and everything works.

Download the software version V302

Upack and rename the file to flash.bin, put it on a flash drive and connect the flash drive to the receiver.
Now we connect our receiver with a cable to the computer and launch the application

I previously disconnected other USB devices from the computer and restarted the computer so that the RS232 converter was correctly detected in the application. Leave the places marked in red empty, press "start" and restart the decoder with the remote control. We are waiting for the process to end.

Poszło na win 11, wcześniej odpalałem program na wirtualnej maszynie win7. Ale chyba problem z USB mam?

What I have found is if there are too many files on the USB stick, the unit can not find the file.
Try with just the recovery file on the main directory.
All other files removed or in folders
