In the file download section there is a file, GTMedia V8X North America Satellite list DB

Can I install this in my V8 Super? If not, where can I get a North America bin?

The V8 Super is a very old unit now.
No, bin files from other units will not work.

It is best to blind scan and sort your own list.

For some reason my V8 locked up and I had to do a fresh bin install. I got it working again. I hate to retire the STB because it works so well and does a good blindscan. This time I will backup my settings. lol

The satellite list posted here will not work for the V8UHD V.238. It is always better to blindscan you satellites and arrange the channels as you wish. If you prefer to use a satellite list you can try this one. Instruction are here:

Can this decode Bell Expressvu from Canada 91.0 W? I have entered IKS info but maybe not in the right place. Does anyone know if the V8 UHD can do IKS from a North American sat?

You making the wrong decision.GTmedia don't decode Bell nagravision.GTmedia smmart about that.If did have that all move the V8 UHD to Mars for north America.
