gtmedia v8UHD and 5.1 surround

I cant seem to find out how to get the v8uhd to output 5.1 surround from the HDMI output. If I hook the gtmedia into Plex via xteve and use sat2ip it works fine and all channels that have 5.1 surround play as such. From the HDMI... no. For instance 125 west Hist ory channel east on 4160h. No surround from HDMI but streams beautiful from Plex live tv via xteve and sat2ip.

Also no subtitles work no matter what if I use hdmi out. Again via sat2ip->xteve->plex its perfect. Subtitles on that feed (and all feeds really) work fine.

Not a huge deal. Oh yes my hdmi is plugged direct into the sound system just like the Roku Ultra which works fine via sat2ip->xteve->plex->hdmi->soundsystem.

all Channels are stereo sound via hdmi
Im on the latest firmware.
