Give us a clue, what output are you using. Have you checked settings etc.

If it is the V8 Finder there are two AV plugs, in and out.

These disconnect the audio as you plug in a 3.5mm plug, so try plugging in a 3.5mm plug a few time to clear any dirt.
Also there is a mute button.

Have you try the audio settings on your remote control?
all signals can be decoded through the hdmi cable to your television or audio receiver. Make sure your cables are firmly connected.
Also ensure your audio is on stereo or mono. sometimes when is in mono, only one speaker works. just on audio settings, move your cursor on the audio menu keys and ensure you go to the correct audio settings. AC3, stereo, Dolby D, etc. play with those keys and you can see.

If the sound speaker is not working on your GTMedia v8, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the volume level: Make sure that the volume is not turned down or muted. You can check this by pressing the volume button on your remote control or accessing the audio settings on the device menu.

Check the audio output settings: Make sure that the audio output is set to "speaker" and not "HDMI" or "digital audio". This can be checked in the audio settings on the device menu.

Check the speaker connection: Make sure that the speaker is properly connected to the device. Check for loose connections or damaged cables. You can also try connecting a different speaker to see if the problem is with the device or the speaker.

Restart the device: Sometimes, restarting the device can resolve software or firmware issues that may be causing the sound problem.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there may be a hardware problem with the device. In that case, it's best to contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for further assistance.
