I will be travelling to US after 10 Dec for 2 months.

I don't want to miss some of good TV shows that broadcast on Channel 4. I want to know how to watch channel 4 outside UK?

I heard about free proxies but not sure its safe to access channel 4 on demand with proxies in US.

Most VPNs should be able to allow access to Channel 4.

Do a speedtest before you buy a vpn. Some of them might not be suitable for streaming media.
