GTMediaD1 Firmware 27/9/2019

Post by Bonsai »

Radio GTMediaD1 Firmware =27/9/2019=

With the latest published firmware =27/9/2019= for the GTMediaD1 radio, the alarm-clock does not work properly.
If the alarm is triggered as example for a Daily-alarm, the alarm-tone can be heard and now the alarm-ton can be switched off by using the =Menu/Info= button. Now the alarm is completely switched off. Not only the alarm-tone although the hole alarm is configured as =Daily/Weekdays/Weekends=. The alarm-data are still displayed in the menu (no =Empty= display which is actually correct). The alarm-clock-symbol is still shown on the display, but there is no next alarms comming e.g. the next day/days at the same time. The function seems to be completely switched off although the menu items and the display say something else.
Either I am using the device incorrectly, the alarm-tone shutdown is not described in the instructions, or the firmware has a problem. As described above, it is about turning off the alarm-sound, not turning off the alarm. I just want only to turn off the alarm sound.

Furthermore, the radio freeze when energy is supplied via the micro USB connector, when the radio is in position off and then the radio is switched on. In this situation, when you turn on the radio, the menu appears =Charge-Mode=, press OK, then the radio tries to start up and then freezes. To fix this condition, the battery must be removed.

In this case, the translation of the word =Menu= into German language is awrong. The translation of the word =Menu= is Menue or Menü and not the word =Speisekarte=. This used translation is complitly wrong. A =Speisekarte= you get in a restaurant to choose the dishes.

It would be nice if these topics could be fixed.
Thanks, a German user
