C band LNBf on a Ku Sat dish
Has someone has succeed using an C band LNBf on a 90 cm Ku dish in North America. If so, what satellite dish was the best to point?
Re: C band LNBf on a Ku Sat dish
90 cm is less than 3 feet ,usually 6 ft is minimum ,8 to 10 optimum ,although i have seen comments on 4 and 5 ft ,never anything on 3ft .
i guess with a hot lnbf you might possibility get something but not much ,try the sats somewhere between 85 and 105 degrees ,they are pretty strong , to the south and some channels are in the clear but think without going to at least 5 or 6 ft you are not going to be happy
if you are up in Northern Canada ,forget it
Good luck and if you try it ,please post your results
