Hi All

PressTV has gone about 4 hours ago from Optus D2 satellite @152E.
12519 V 22500
The channel was working fine this morning NZST and now scans of the TP no longer have PressTV. ]PressTV's website[/url][/code] is also gone and now reports "Error 503 Backend fetch failed"

At the same time a US senator is trying to revive an anti Nazi bill to control and block the Russia today TV channel.

Has anyone else lost PressTV from their satellite?

All this does not look good.

For those that are in the footprint, Press Tv is still on Galaxy 19(97 west). I set up a stationary ku dish and it scanned in.

PressTV and the other two Iranian channels returned late last week to Optus D2.

I have found no reported reason why this happened.

Press TV on Galaxy 19 @ 97w 12177 V 23000 has been color bars for over a month now.

PSSI Global is the provider.

In the past few years, it's gone out occasionally, but never for this long. Whenever it went down, I would reach out on Press TV's Facebook page to let them know what was going on, and they would message back to me. This time, however, I've gotten no response from them after multiple messages.

Yes my PressTV on Optus D2 went off of near 6 mounts a while back.
It goes off a few times now and flickers a lot. Looks as if the internet feed is being cut or blocked.

Hello guys,

Can anybody confirm if Press TV is still at Telstar 12 Vantage @ 15w, 11795 H 45000? The satellite is too low on the horizon for me to check. Another forum reported it was there, but that was a couple of months ago.

If somebody can check for me, I would really appreciate it. The satellite is very low on the horizon for me here, but I may be able to fish signal in with 1.8 meter offset. I don't want to spend time looking for it, if it isn't there.

Can anybody see this satellite and check for me?

PressTV provided me with another view on the middle east.
I think US sanctions have caused it to be removed.

I still check it on line when I can.

If you can check for me I would appreciate that a lot. I have a 1.8 meter dish in a spot where I may be able to get the station. But, I would like confirmation because I have to manually move the dish. This satellite is very low in sky for me here, and it may take a long time for me to locate it. If I know the station is still there, it would be time well spent. If it's not a problem to check, I would appreciate it.

Just like Owen said, it is a good source of alternative news, especially with all of the misinformation and lack of coverage on certain topics, in mainstream news media. Of course, I always take with a grain of salt any news station I watch. It's a good thing for everybody, when we have many options to pick from.

Thanks. I've been wanting to know if it was still there.
It finally came back to Galaxy 19 @ 97w, probably a couple of days ago, after being gone for several months. I scan this bird regularly. Glad to see it back.
