Sky Broadband Shield

Post by Feralkiwi »

ukcolumn dot org is reporting the the UK sky boxes are blocking websites streaming services as part of their age settings in their sky box.
The issue is that these blocks are being set in your modem by the sky TV box, not just in the sky box.
This means that when you use your PC or phone to view some content, the modem has blocked you on instruction from the skyTV box.
UK Sky is not the only ones doing this.

Just another thing that may make connecting our GT Media boxes to the net more difficult.
