Freesat V8 Finder problem

Post by antene »

Hello, my name is Marian and I live in Romania, and I have a problem with my device Freesat V8 Finder, please if you can help me. This device has a problem if lnb has a problem like a short circuit, the device goes off automatically and does not start unless it is connected to a power supply to the charger. Thank you.

This is the battery protection.
These Lithium Iron batteries can not be fully discharged. To prevent full discharge, when a low voltage is detected the Finder will stop using the battery.
If your cable has a short, this will cause a low voltage.
The protection is canceled once the battery has been connected to the charger.

This is a problem if you are away from your charger, yes.

Good info, I was considering that unit, until I read your reviews.
