Discovery Channels 1W 12303V 27500

Post by STRETCH »

The said channels are still live on the said transponder, can be viewed with the latest software on the following receivers.
V8X / V8 Turbo / V7 Pro.
May have to use the db editor to make them work.

How many users are watching this transponder’s channels? How long can this signal last? Since updating the software requires a lot of effort, or only updating part of the platform software(such as v8x), how about it?

The said channels are still live at 1w, have tried to do the same hack on the V7S2X V466 9 DEC 2021,with the db editor the receiver will only decode the two channels that are transmitted as TV channels, the rest you only get sound with (Encrypt Program) on the screen.
The footprint for this transponder in for Europe.

Can confirm that with the latest update to the V7Pro V302 14 DEC 21, also to the V8 Turbo v303 15 DEC 21, you can still view the said channels at 1w, after making amendments via the db editor.
Yes, the channels are still live.

UPDATE. As per flysat and lyngsat the said channels are back on the said transponder.
Have carried out a test, of the said transponder, on the V8 Turbo, the missing channels are still been scanned in as (Radio) channels,
Still need to amend the channels with the db editor to view.

Only 2 channels work, and the rest only sound.

I corrected it, but the image did not appear. Maybe there's only one sound? Or did I do something wrong?

On this receiver there are two channels that do not work, both are DTX with the (SID'S) of 3001 and 3002.
All the rest work for me with (English) audio.

UPDATE to a UPDATE.
Carried out more tests, today to confirm that you can still view the said channels.
Deleted the said transponder, which in turn deleted all Discovery channels.
Put the said transponder again, 12303v 27500, then carried out the scan, 2 TV channels, 20 Radio channels.
Down loaded the db information, to amend the (V_PID's) that were at (0).
Action as follows, channels with a (A_PID1) of 901, make (V_PID) 900. / (A_PID1) of 1301, make (V_PID) 1300. / (A_PID1) of 2301, make (V_PID) 2300 /
(A_PID1) 2601, make (V_PID) 2600, and so no.
I also have the keys in the softcam, when all is done, put the information back into the receiver, this time around the channels did not decode, apart from the two Polish channels, i then move the motor to another satellite, then brought the motor back to 1w, the channels then decoded.
This works with the V7Pro / V8Turbo / V8X models.
Hope this helps other users in Europe.

Just two channels work with the V8 NOVA ORANGE, (Auto-roll) all the other channels edited, does not work, will be the same with the Nova Blue.
Have carried out a rescan, with some of the channels back on the satellite at 1w, only scan's in two TV channels, the rest as Radio channels.
I would think a update to the software of the Nova models, may bring in the said channels, we will have to wait and see.

The said channels are NO LONGER working with the hack of adding pid/tv tag via the db editor.
There are only Two channels working, one of which has audio for English/Polish, the other Polish only.
This is via the softcam/auto-roll (Powervu).
It was good while it lasted.
