GT Media D2 radio The screen is illuminated, without any letters

Hello my friends,or the profesionals.My radios, I have 2 (my brother gave it back to me 1), so they both have problems with the '' blank screen '' ... Switch in the middle or upper position also a blank screen. People, I have 2 radios I would like if it worked at least 1. Write what to do with them, or throw them away, or have them repaired at the price they cost? Thank you for every reasonable help ...I HAVE UPDATED IT,,After this,I saw the message SUCCESS,,,The radio has been reboot,I was so waiting...but NOTHING is fixed after Update anyway...
