There are currently a whole ton of sports feeds tonight on 87, 91 and 99, all of them using BISS. Are any of these viewable? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm new here and just got my V8 Nova last week :)

Hey welcome to the forum...are these feeds Ku or C-Band?

You can watch these feeds if you find a code for them.
Some web sites list these codes, but as they are up for a day only and change it is hard to get new codes on time.

Sadly the Autoroll function for BISS needs a LOT of computer power. The other brand units that do auto roll for BISS send a large TP recording off to a web site that returns the code.
Freesat does not do this.

Thanks for the quick reply! So basically I would need a PC tuner card to decode the BISS sports wild feeds?

Only if you want to find the BISS codes your self.
You can still find the codes on the net and add them to the Freesat unit.

Which site(s) are best for finding occasional Biss feed codes?

What I have done in the past is use the first few codes of the last feed BISS code (eg Hex 01 02 03) in part of my search words along with the sat long or lat and the channel name.
eg "Fiji 166e 01 02 03 BISS"

Good luck.

Is it possible to record a .TS file from the receiver, open it on a PC and extract the code? I heard that there is a program that does it, although I don't know what it's called.

Yes I have also heard of that.

If you find one let me know.

I think you need a very good graphics card and lots of PC.
