The VPID is the address in the data stream for that video for that channel, so changing will use video from another channel or no video at all.
Remember any pid change will be auto corrected if you do not also change the SID to one not used on that TP.
The powervu key search looks at the video data to test if the key works, so it needs to be the powervu video data, not another channel.
If the channel is one that does open, not powervu+, the issue may be no EMM key in the software for that TP / channel.
Check you have the software version that opens it.
