It's a case of finding the keys, via the net, and putting them into the receiver, like we all did in the past.
Until they can solve the issue via the server.

Hi. Have owned V8X for about a year and been scanning for horse racing tracks. Most are BISS encrypted and until recently the majority have been decrypted by the unit. However the last week or so, the channel will simply stay on the "AutoBISS:Calculating! Please wait..." screen and never get the CW. Is anyone having the same issue, and if so, how can it be fixed?

Yes the server is down since Friday and not returning keys.

I hope they can fix it.

Is there a server I can add to GT combo that can decode NOVA group of channels and / or Sky Italy (both on Hotbird 13E)

For those types of encryption you would need a Ccam account or the PayTV card.

You can look on the net for a ccam.

Lost keys after upgrading my V9Prime to MARS. I used to open several TPs on 58W (PowerVU) and 30W (12092/H/30000), so is there any chance to recover it from a back-up of my softcam.key?

It is a most needed to do from your side to backup everything including keys whenever you install a new update.
I will PM a link for a softcam , hopefully it works for you

Biss server running well today? I had a few feeds last weekend that never would open. I try to leave it on Autobiss for 10 minutes at least.

Hello. So far, the server was running ok this week. Opened up several channels today. I too had problems last weekend. It doesn't work sometimes. Other BISS servers have the same issue. For the most part I think it's reliable, and it's free with the purchase of your STB unlike other servers. You might want to look into other options as a backup when it does go down. You can PM if you are having problems, and need help. Regards.

Yes, I had a receiver on a different server for backup but it expired. I'm not sure who to contact about a renewal. I don't want to get scammed.

Hi all,
I have a GTX Combo. It's a really neat little unit, I quite like it :D
Struggling a bit with the SoftCam key file though...

Is there a specific key format for the SoftCam.key file on the GTX Combo?
I seem to have some issues with EMM keys not autorolling the ECM, and the ones that do work don't add the Group ID, Srvc ID and just write as:
P 00000000 00 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; added by Emu Wed Jul 26 20:56:11 2023 UA: 00000000
P 00000000 01 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; added by Emu Wed Jul 26 20:56:11 2023 UA: 00000000

A manual I found said the format is:
P 0006004B 00 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ;Sony Ten 1 HD (105.5°E)
where -
P: PowerVU
0006: Satellite number(4bit, Decimal)
004B: Service ID(4bit, Hexadecimal)
00: This is an odd key;when 01: This is an even key
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx: Key(Hexadecimal)
;Sony Ten 1 HD (105.5°E): Comments (must a SPACE before ‘;’)

-This doesnt seem to work with my unit

Another post elsewhere said the format is:
P = Power Vu
0065 = GROUP-ID
00D2 = SID (must be 4 digits)
00 = Key number
00000000000000 = Dummy key 14 digits
; = end of data line, add your comments after the ; the space is required
We get this:
P 006500D2 00 00000000000000 ; Fox Brasil
next line is:
P 006500D2 01 00000000000000 ; Fox Brasil
Now add the EMM key you supplied.... note the differences:
P 0065 00860000 00000000000000 ; EMM KEY (No 00, space at end of code before semi-colon)

This also doesn't seem to work with the unit. Any type of GroupID for the keys and the keys won't work at all.
Using just the Service ID/Index/Key seems to work, but the same service ID shows up on different channels occasionally...
Any info on the correct format would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks all :)

Most of the codes are built within the software of the receiver, Powervu, will "auto roll", Biss should work when connected to the internet
Are you making your own softcam to use on the channels that you receive, if so what range of satellites / channels.
You should be able to "Export" your softcam to USB, than check the format on the screen of your computer.

Most keys for GtCombo and GTX combo are embedded to the FW. Unfurtunally, there are a lot of channels/TPs in America that are Not doing autoroll or the autoroll is set to run from providers after a long way days, weeks, months. There are some 00 and 01 ECMs keys also embeded but not all. In this case if channels does not open after some time they need to be added manually on softcam either by WebIf of manually on box.

P 00000000 00 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; channel
P 00000000 01 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; channel

P 00860000 00 00000000000000 ; EMM KEY

Note:
Do not used previous format using sid from GTC

My GTX Combo also does not roll some powervu channels that the GT Combo does.
One is BBC off Intelsat19@166e.
The EMM code must be missed in the GTX software for that channel.

You can also access the code lists using the browser.
Type in this line where the IP is for your unit 192.168.1.105
There you can click on other files (far right) and select softcam.

http://192.168.1.105:8081/files.html?file=autobiss.Key
Your IP, see Info on the main android menu.

Many thanks for the replies guys

@Stretch - Great minds think alike mate. :D That is exactly what I did when I started trying to work it all out.
All that was in there was the Auto-rolled ECM's that had been dropped in, and they don't really identify what they are for:
P 00000000 00 35XXXXXXXXXX78 ; added by Emu Wed Jul 26 22:40:52 2023 UA: 00000000

@Feralkiwi - I've been using the Oscam Web IF on the unit, it was in the Oscam config and easy enough to find. I've been editing the SoftCam.key file from in the web IF from the moment I exported the onboard configs and sifted through everything on my PC and found the port number.

Interestingly... I've noticed the unit changes IP every time it reboots. I'm using Ethernet and have set a static IP on the android IF, and set a static mapping for the unit in my router - nope. Seems to use the android option of "Random MAC" but doesn't have the menu option to disable, so I have to change the IP in my browser after every reboot, haha. I also had to knock my DHCP lease time down to 3 Hrs. After a few reboots/Resets it had chewed through a few addresses from the DHCP pool that were all orphaned and just hanging in limbo.

Even more interestingly... I am looking at the same bird as you mate, BBC AP SD and BBC AP HD are working for me at the moment, But I am also running DVB Viewer PRO on a TBS card with PowerVU EMU, and a DM8000HD box, both have working EMM's. I copied the key across from PowerVU EMU and added it in and away she went. It seems to use the same format for ECM's as the GTX Combo. Not sure how often they change though. It's still working this morning.

@cpr43 - Thank you mate, It looks like it follows the same format as PowerVU EMU EMM's, I'll add a few in and see if I can get it to roll as it should. The previous format with SID and Sat ID definitely doesn't work, the keys look all messed up in Oscam when I show entitlements for the EMU reader.

Cheers all.

Sharky.

When you make your own softcam, for the GTCombo for the channels that you view.
The list could be something like this.
F = Biss / P = Powervu, At the end of each line after (;) put the details of the channel / satellite, which is for info only.

F 11495 00 D500000000000062; BBC 27.5W
F 12223 00 A1000000000000B1; EPT 39E
F 12338 00 1100000000000011; ANT/MTV 39E
F 12609 00 1200000000000076;ESPN 901 15W
P 11804 00 9B00000000000058;A F N 9E
P 11804 01 F9000000000000B5;

But before you put your own softcam into the receiver, make a copy to USB and keep safe.
For when you put your softcam into the receiver it will override the one that is on it.

The stuff on 166e all auto rolls, both the BISS and the powervu, like ANS CBN and BBC.
Only my GTX combo does not roll BBC.
I have not seen very many channels on 105.5e that can roll.
The sony channels went powervu+ years back as did the discovery channels on 166e.
138e the GTX GMA have not rolled for some time, but I have not checked for a few months.

I don't see the other satellites.

Hi,
I am new to this community, and my new GTMedia 9 Prime only shows the channel's list name as srv 1, srv2, srv7, and so on, without showing any channel.
I am living in N America.
I purchased this GT9 Prime in the USA from Gtmedia agent, its sat list is from 30.0W to East with a UK location and is not listed from 30.0W to Western sat.
So, I believe it is not useable for us here in this location and I have no choice but just return it to your sale agent if your assistance is unable to help.
