Does anyone know the correct way to add EMM Powervu Keys in GTC's Oscam? Keys responsible for the ECM Keys autoroll. ECM Keys I know add. EMM Keys do not!

Explain the difference as to how you express the PowerVu string for the V8 Super vs Oscam for the GTSeries. I assume the same key can be used for the same transponder but on the GTSeries you replace 00 with three digit sat no? Explain Please. Thanks Hank

Muchas Gracias! Mi GTC hace un tiempo no trabaja bien. Tengo que seleccionar el port 1 del Disqc 1.0 aunque NO este usando switch para que me de calidad. Si no lo hago NO me da calidad ni señal. Los canales PowerVu y Biss dejaron de trabajar. Aunque ahora el Oscam es nuevo pues creo que trabaja diferente. He leido que como mencionas hay que poner las ECM 00 y 01 en blanco (dummy) y el EMM para que haga autoroll como explicastes. Creo que hay 2 modelos de GTC V2 y V3 y ambas estan trabajando en formas extrañas. Tus Biss te estan trabajando??? Como las estas escribiendo en el softcam?? Muchas Gracias y Saludos

Por mala suerte solo tuve una semana con mi GTC V3 funcionando correctamente, pero en este tiempo si logre echar a trabajar el Oscam, aclaro que no se hizo autoroll pero si encontro la manera de editar el
softcam.key. En los foros Europeos explican el formato y lo pongo aqui en caso que hay otras personas que le interesen.
Usando los ejemplares de ariba , los primeros 4 digitos es el GROUP ID, es un numero que Ud
escojes y va de 0001 a FFFF... en este caso es 0001 solo que no se escribe los primeros ceros porque
no tienen valor. Yo pongo un GROUP ID para cada transponder, la razon es que el segundo grupo es el SID y es probable que se va a repitir el SID en cada satelite. Tuve este problema en un principio y se bloquearon los canales con el mismo SID hasta que lo asigne a un GROUP ID diferente

My bad luck,I only had one week with my GTC V3 working correctly, but in that time I managed to get
Oscam to work, it did not autoroll but I found the way to edit the softcam.key. In the European forums
the format is explained and I'm showing it here in case there are others interested.
Using the examples shown above. The first 4 digits are the GROUP ID, it is a number that you choose and
it goes from 0001 to FFFF ...in this case it is 0001 only that you do not have to write the leading zeros because they have no value. I put a GROUP ID for each transponder, the reason is that the second group is the SID and it is likely that the SID will be repeated on each satellite. I had this problem at first, it blocked the channels with the same SID until I assigned a different GROUP ID to each one.

You will find in the section "Syntax for EMM keys in SoftCam.Key" the explanation you requested. I believe the confusion is being caused by the "GroupID" which is not required in the Key files for other STB's, only those using the OSCAM Emu. Basically the GroupID of the EMM only refers to the GroupID of the ECM's in that group, so it needs more care/work on the part of the operator to make sure that they do not get mixed up. With OSCAM the days of just adding a list of keys to your existing file are over, they have to be entered in a certain way and with the correct group info.
See if this helps you. Also the first part of the linked page explains about an important update that needs to be applied to your Oscam files.

Yes they may work for years, but if they change and you do not have a valid EMM key then your box will not autoroll/update. So the EMM's are not required for the daily work, but they are required if the ECM key changes.

The EMM key is the Automatic Update (AU) key. If you do not have the EMM key in your list and there is a key change in the ECM (00 & 01) key your box will not update automatically and you will have to go find the new key elsewhere. If you have the correct EMM key for the channel then your ECM key will update to the new key.

You can consider the ECM keys to be manual (you input the numbers and letters) and become automatic when you have the correct EMM key.

Vejam só: eu só consegui abrir os canais em Powervu no GTmedia GTC inserindo manualmente uma a uma no 58W. Embora os canais numa determinada frequência tenham a mesma chave os canais só abrem se vc colocar as chaves em cada um dos canais dessa frequência e como disse embora sejam as mesmas. Tem algum outro jeito? Espero resposta.

Como eu disse em um post anterior, o OSCAM requer muito mais trabalho, inicialmente. O SID de cada canal tem que estar na linha de código, quando você compõe sua lista, é fácil mudar a chave usando um editor de texto, usando a função replace. O que você está fazendo agora é a única maneira de fazer isso.

Buenas noches a los nobles colegas, usando los procedimientos arriba citados conseguí con que mi GTC funcionara con las llaves en EMM. Sin embargo con los Mux en Powervu de los canales de los satélites C1 / C3 y D1 él en encuentra las llaves, pero no abre los canales. Esos satelites al igual que MTN usan un CW que NO esta en los firmwares.
