if your getting 720p? Let me know what app your using. You can confirm resolution by searching for test patterns in the Netflix search menu. Play the video and it'll tell you what the actual res and bitrate. Back in December Netflix banned all Chinese boxes from receiving fullHD. Except for a select few. I had to run xxxxxx just to get 720P. Although, it'll do 1080P. The Amlogic processor isn't powerful enough to software decode and causes to much buffering. So I just lock it down to 720P.

Well, did you confirm what you thought was 720p is actually only 480P. Or are you using a Netflix apk that enables 720p.
Thanks

I have 480p not 720p. It was my mistake.

Hi,
I'm thinking about buying GTC but netflix's resolution is important for me. Is it in HD or FullHD? Or is it only in 480p?
I've a tv box (with amlogic SoC) with and old version of Netflix and it plays in FullHD and I was thinking in the GTC to replace it, but if Netflix only plays in 480p is a bad decision.

All I have is been able to get is 480P since Dec. of 2018. Please share that older Netflix App that does FullHD.
Thanks

Yeah, you're right.
I thought it was 1080p because of the small size of the tv where this tv box was plugged. I've just run a pattern test and the maximum resolution is 480p.
What a fuc*** sh*t! Maybe it would be a great idea use a Google Chromecast for FullHD or Google Chromecast Ultra for UHD if the TV supports it.

EDIT: I'm trying with version 5.3.1 but now I have the 5.2 error. This version musts work in 1080p.
