Is the TF slot on the GTC box for a microsd card?

I could not get any of my devices to fit the slot, the microSD are too small and the adaptors I have are too big. TF cards are advertised on ebay/amazon but are more expensive than other types, so I have not investigated further. It would be nice to be able to use that slot as it will give us more memory .

not easy to insert but the slot is ok for microsd,
