My GTC freeze durind the boot

My system freeze during the boot with the logo Gtmedia.
It was the first utilization.
Please help me.

I receive from group leader USB Burning Tool and GT img Download link. So I tried to install the original company firmware but to do that i need to reset the box as the USB burning tool was not detecting the box through usb. There is no reset button on the box.
Now the box is in boot loop.
what can I do?

I tired the short pin method to reset the OS [ a video i seen from youtube ] unfortunately it worked and USB tool start detecting the Box and i flashed with the original firmware.
But nothing happened, the system freeze during the boot with the logo.
What can I do?

My GTC board circuit SN is YW 1108 V1.0 20190608. Is the board circuit fake or original?
I need the last firmware (.img) for this board circuit, because GTC_v2.0_C20.A6.3.43_20190128.img, is not ok for me.

If I replaced the eMMC Nand flash memory with new one and burn the firmware, then I could start GTC ?

The serial number you gave doesn't seem right. It should start with GC.

Is it Freesat or GT Media branded on the box?
Can you take some pictures of inside and outside and also the box it came with?

Short pin method should only be done as a last resort. Yes you can replace the eMMC but it's whether you can buy them that's the problem.

I don't have access at menu, because GTC freezee during the boot every time.
I loaded 6 times succesfuly the Sw GTC_v2.0_C20.A6.3.43_20190128.img, but the GTC freezee in 15 seconds-1 minute after plug in GTC.
I thought If the date of manufacture of board circuit (28.06.2919) is after the date of firmware maked (28.02.2019), something is not ok.

Sometime after the boot I see on tv the message:
Android is starting ...Optimizing app __ of 14.
Sometime freeze during thease process.
In case that the proces is completed I see on Tv the message: unfortunately. Sistem Ui has stopped, and freeze.
I can't go on.
What can I do ??

Your box looks the same as mine, The serial number is on the sticker underneath near the back.

The optimisation is normal. I think it's due to android being set to fast boot. If you have a phone repair kit (Screwdriver, pry tool etc) you can use the pry tool to open the remote be careful to avoid damaging the plastic when it's open wipe the inside with a damp cloth and dry it with a towel also check the battery terminals to make sure their not corroded or broke. If they are broke you maybe able to repair it with a soldering iron.

The apps crashing happens to me also it just happens randomly. It's a bug but i don't think it affects the function of the box as it will still work.

What firmware version is on it right now?

I only know no. to the firmware I loaded: GTC_v2.0_C20.A6.3.43_20190128.
I have never been able to start the box, always freeze from the first use.
I loaded firmware without remote control. I used short pin method.
I think emmc replacement is the last solution.
Maybe another firmware, that has updates.

Has the box actually froze or could it be because the remote that isn't working?

If you have a USB mouse plug it in to the box and you should be able to move around and a cursor will appear.

I don't think an upgrade will help because that's the version mine was on before I upgraded to the latest firmware and it was working fine for me with the exception of the other bugs but nothing that caused it to freeze.

You can ignore the "Unfortunately System UI has stopped" message and click ok with a mouse

Sorry for repeating the question but do you know if the remote ever worked? If the box is freezing then it may seem that the remote is broke.

Can you try restart the box and keep pressing MENU on the remote to see if the recovery screen appears. If that works try a reset from there.

If that does not work you could ask one of the admins for an older firmware version and try that to see if it solves the problem.

I watched the videos and i can see it freezing in the first video.

Can you try once more to flash the .img file using USBBurnTool. Try first without short pin method to see if your computer can detect it. If that does not work be careful you don't short out other pins or components.

In USBBurnTool do not select "overwrite key", Load the .img file and wait for the file to load and burn it then wait until it tells you that it has finished. After it has successfully burned the file disconnect the power and remove the USB cable. Then connect it to your TV and see if it works it may take a while try to be patient and leave for at least 5 minutes to see if it loads.

I waiting 30 min, and nothing happened .
I think it have one bug in emmc.

I don't think it's a hardware issue. If the chip was broke i don't think it would load at all.

There must be something wrong with the firmware you have. Can you upload it or if you have the original link you downloaded it from send me a link via PM so i can take a look at it.

Can you use the USBBurnTool again and select "Force Erase All" from the drop down menu in the software.

I'm sorry to hear that.

It seems like it is a boot loop issue similar to what happened to my box. I fixed mine by using USBBurnTool with an older firmware version but your box is newer than mine so don't know if it has an older firmware version.

If you can reach one of the admins via PM ask them to send you a version other than the one they sent you the link too. So you can try it before giving up.

Why do you suspect an issue with the emmc?

I suspect an issue with the emmc, because probalby an android update is not completed and emmc has saved something which cannot be erased.
If I replace the emmc an empty emmc, and then I reflash the .img the GTC will probably start without problem.
But I am waithing for another firmware now.

I loaded the last firmware GTC_v2.0_C20.A6.3.49_20191218, via USB, the receiver do not work.
Then I loaded 10 times the img., I waited 30 min-1 h. when the logo moved, but after plug in , the GTC stopped with the logo GTMEDIA.
This was it, I was tired.
