Already discussed problems or newest problem or any problems found in forum.

And priority level limit p1 - p10 or something. Because you need to find high priority, low priority problems within this priority number.

I want to report these issues for GTC

1. Subtitles options are skipped while loadding the channles list, this should be really easy to fix and it is really annoying. If I do blind scan the subtitle options are there, but once I download the channles list to order them, there are no information about the subtitles. Even if I add this information manually, it is not included while loadding the order channels.

2. HDMI CEC, the first versions of the software had the option to turn ON/OFF HMDI CEC, the last one doesn't. My GTC is connected to a sound bar with multiple HDMI ports, other devices behaves ok, but I see odd behavior in the GTC when its port is selected.

3. Image jumps for some channles like SPACE HD on 70w Start One C4

A:The HDMI CEC function is not perfect, so it is cancelled. What is the problem you are encountering at the moment? What happened to GTC after HDMI switched to another device?

GTC there is no option or key example (Yellow,red,rgreen) to find certain channel by name.
there is no friendly use editor for GTC channel.

Buenas noches, he comprado un GtMedia GTC y ya empiezo a arrepentirme, lo digo porque una vez instalado tengo el problema que una vez abierto un canal todo marcha bien, pero al poco tiempo comienza un desfase entre el audio y el video, pero si vuelvo a otro canal y vuelvo de nuevo al mismo el problema ya se ha solventado, pero al poco tiempo vuelve el mismo problema, asi una y otra vez, como se puede resolver el problema del desfase del audio con el video, alguien puede ayudarme? Por favor si existe un nuevo firmware para el GTC que lo lanzen ya porque es insufrible ver una plicula asi. Espero que el administrador o administradores puedan tomar cartas en el asunto lo antes posible. GRACIAS

Has probado a hacer un reset de fábrica e instalar desde cero? Puede que le venga bien hacer una instalación limpia y que se solucione tu problema.
Y por otro lado, que versión de caja tienes, la GTC2161 o la GC2A? Lo digo porque parece por los reportes de los compañeros y el mío propio que va mejor la versión GTC2161. De hecho mi caja para ver la tv (que es para lo que la quiero) va de lujo.
Ha salido nueva versión de firmware (51) vía OTA. Si te ha saltado la actualización, una vez que actualices, haz un reset de fabrica para tener el firmware lo más limpio posible y que no quede ningún resto anterior.
Coméntanos qué tal te ha ido.

Efectivamente se tiene que hacer un doble reset de fabrica, tanto de las opciones avanzadas, como el del menú principal, se pierde todo, pero es lo mas sano, y si tienes tu lista de canales o satélites, solo lo importas y listo, yo tengo la GTC desde el 2018 (la primera versión) y no me quejo. Trabaja a mi uso y conveniencia como yo quiero.

GTC firmware version 51 Czech Republic DVB-T2:
1. Wrong font for EPG (diacritics do not display correctly).
2. There are channels with resolution 960x540. On the bottom of the screen is one row line displayed on more lines (i guess 10 lines).
HD content is O.K.

El problema muchas veces radica en que utiliza y te acomoda a la configuración que trae de fabrica, yo solucióne varios problemas eliminando los Satélites que tenía pregrabado y colocando lo que utilizo de forma manual... De ahí todo funciono muy bien... Podrías intentar eso ... Suerte

Hola, entra en ajustes>información>número de serie. Ahí verás si empieza por GTC2161 o por GC2A.

There is a bug in android keyboard app which in gt combo. The bug is switching between input languages not work. I have English and Arabic as input languages and when keyboard open in English and try to switch to Arabic, but it unable.

When working on an app for example Picsart app and then you minimize it to check something and come back to picsart to continue but it restarts from begining?
How do I edit build.prop to increase number of running apps at background?

I just updated my GT Combo this morning and the blindscan is gone haywire.The audio selection is worst than the last update,you can't even select a type of audio you want.The box freezes the select or defaults to the first audio it found after scanning.Using the box for streaming is the only benefit of this box right now.

Check in the antenna setting that the correct setting is there for 22kHz.
If you change LNB frequency using the left arrow the 22kHz is set to "OFF" as you change from 7950/10500 to 5750/5150.
If you change LNB frequency using the right arrow the 22kHz is set to "Auto" as you change from 5750/5150 to 7950/10500

Also scanning USALS satellite locks up.
Try to get your dish in the correct position and then change the motor away from USALS before scanning, that may work
I scanned in by first using a fixed dish, after that I set for USALS and the move function works OK.
Loading an old user file may work too. Note the new DVB-T options are in your user file so you will not see the new ones that come with this new software like NZ if you load your older version user file.

Here is my report on this to GT Media.
If anyone can add to this please post or PM.

I can add this regarding the USALS search lock up.
First I set up and scan in the channels using a fixed dish for two satellites.
I then change these satellite to USALS.
I can then change channel between these two satellites and the Moving dish message is shown.
If I have changed from one USALS satellite / channel to another USALS satellite / channel and the scan the satellite of the channel I am on, no lock up
If I do as above and scan the other USALS satellite, the dish does not move and I scan in the channels for the satellite of the current channel.

If I change channel from a non USALS satellite to a USALS satellite, no moving dish message is shown and a scan of the USALS satellite locks up the unit

Conclusion:
I think the time delay / moving dish message is the problem.
This is not triggered correctly if I have not changed between two USALS satellite.

If all satellites / channels on the unit are USALS, no lock up would happen, IF all the channel were already loaded, like via a user DB import. I have not tested this.

Thanks for the reply Owen,but there is no motor or C/Ku band switching here.It is currently connected to a single Ku band stationary reflector.I was having audio problems with the previous version,but nothing like this last version.

Still check that the 22kHz setting is what you need, off for a standard 13000 LNB and Auto for a universal like 9750/10600 as it can be wrong.
Even with it faded out for the 9750/10600, you can click on it to change it.

I have seen a number of lock ups when working the USALS and Diseqc area of the program. I have to do a restart. The dish move commands will not work, the signal strength stops or freezes. it appears that a subprocess dies or hangs. My sathero always works
