Got GTC V51 update, now checking.....

I got new OTA v51. Now i am checking whether the problems is solved or not. So far i have noticed

1. Channels arranging problem are not solved.
2. If you accidentally press any number to change channel you can't exit.
3. Signal strength improved.
4. Export DVB data problem solved.
5. Improved display interface.
6. FAV problem solved, now you can add more then one fav but i can only add maximum three fav.
7. Programme scheduling problem is not solved, there is no title.
8. PVR player problem is solved but there is no option to start record immediately after pressing button.

Now i am checking in details for what problems are remains and what are improved.

Also post your findings.

Alguno puede confirmar si la actualización C20.A6.3.51, es aplicable para una GTC con Numero de Serie GTC2161XXX, porque esta contiene el formato C20.A6.2.48. Tengo conocimiento que las versiones A6.3 son aplicables únicamente para las GTC con Numero de Serie GC2A19.

Someone can confirm if the update C20.A6.3.51 is applicable for a GTC with Serial Number GTC2161XXX, because it contains the C20.A6.2.48 format. I am aware that A6.3 versions are only applicable for GTCs with Serial Number GC2A19.

Signal improved only when you press ok
But if you press info it will be zero!!!!!

Not for me info is working fine. Only thing that it is always showing 95% signal strength for every sat and every tp.

Yes its an OTA v51. It should pop up update notification when you boot the box.

looks weird..mine show signal...but shows zero if you exit and open back...but not long

I guess Ignore will means do not look for this anymore. Maybe if any other in the feature is released them you will see the new pop up. Why to ignore it?

Since everything is working, I'm afraid to mess up. I'm researching how to make an image backup of the system, so I could test on this upgrade but didn't find specific article on this TV box.

I guess Ignore will means do not look for this anymore. Maybe if any other in the feature is released them you will see the new pop up. Why to ignore it?

Whatever the update is there should be an option update later instead of 10 min later and then when the user want to update, just check online update and they will get OTA update pop up msg for update.

If you decide later you would like to update, then in APPS there is the UPDATE which will bring up the update window and check for an update. It is almost impossible to wind back the version, unless you can get an image from the factory, just be careful you get the correct version, V2 or V3
