no actualizen la anterior buscaba las biss, en esta no, pense que seria una mejor version mejorando por mucho al GTC, ojala mejoren

It is slower, problems changing channels, it is frozen, it does not change channels between satellites, more stubborn than the GTC, you scan and it stays frozen
They do not update the previous one I was looking for the biss, in this one, I thought it would be a better version improving the GTC by a lot, hopefully they improve, xxxxxxxxx

I'm waitting for my new GTcombo to arrive.
The main function that I'll test is "Full Auto PowerVu, DRE &Biss key".
For me it is expected to work similar to V8 UHD or V8X

Is it this functionality enabled and running with the update?

I have the GT Combo For 4 days and IPTV better and very good no problems About the satellite Blind Scan for now slow and freezes at 105 west 70% scan freezes at 00981.00mhz 4168mhz. V8UHD faster in all scans.Butt only few firmware.The combo will be one good box.I only setup the IPTV and the Satellites for now.Important At the west satellites from 133w to 55.5 west and Hispansat all Powervu channels are encrypted The biss keys no problem did need to repair that.I have to learning to import that Softcam and the cccam

Hi Tom,

I received mine about 10 days ago and I was really disappointed from all angles.
Auto PowerVu doesn't work at all, I tested it in 55.5w C and 58w C, 40.5w C w/no luck whatsoever.
4:2:2 Feeds aren't playing correctly, it seems like the GTcombo is autosourcing the 4:2:2 broadcasts into the GTplayer app resulting into a very poor and lagging video. Any suggestions?

To access the softcam you press 6666 while on the CW menu.
cpr43 suggests naming the softcam.key file with capitals "SoftCam.key" to load it.

Thanks for answering, but I want to see the feed key and it doesn't seem like the receiver either eutoroll but it doesn't seem like the key either by softcam or anything.

I have had my softcam.key file load. The software just looks for the file on the USB and loads it.
Like you I see no way to export a softcam from this unit.
You usually export to see the found codes on your PC.

I am testing cpr43's capital method today, so may know more later

My latest testing shows that if I use a satellite on the default list the switch / LNB settings work OK.
If I "ADD" a satellite and set up the switching, it does not work.

So if you are having issue with casscade switching (Both DiSEqC 1.1 and 1.0 ) or issues with univresal LNB settings like 9750/10600 then reuse a satellite on the default list.

eg:
I added a satellite with DiSEqC 1.1 port 6 DiSEqC 1.0 port 2 13000 LNB.
The switch commands are sent in the incorrect order, 1.0 first and 1.1 second, so the 1.1 switch is set correctly, but the 1.0 switch is default port 1, not port 2.
This works if the channels are scanned in as the resend of the commands will set the second 1.0 switch.
BUT for a first blind scan the second switch is not set and you scan the TP's for port 1 and as the switch commands are sent again before scanning the found TP's for channels, the H channel are not scanned.
With a universal LNB (9750/10600) it is way wrong and does not scan.

If you have issues with switching or universal LNB's like 9750/10600, use a default satellite on the preloaded list.

Also I find if I export and import my user data, the moved channels and favorite list, USALS lat and long etc are saved.
Edited: Any channels added to favorites lists are removed after scanning that satellite.

I have sent these findings to GT Media.

I myself use 2 parabolic dishes with 2 drives. 1 mesh parabolic dish with 2 Lnb using a special 4x1 C band diseq and 1 solid parabolic dish using 1 Lnb ku band without using diseq.
Both my mesh and Solid parabolic dishes use separate cables.
Everything went normally and smoothly without any problems on the previous GTMedia Receiver.

Below here are the two satellite from my user data file.
The top one is a default list satellite, Eutelsat 172B (173.5E Ku-band) As far as I know this sat does not exist.
It is set in the menus as 9750/10600 LNB and port 5 / 3 for switching.
This sat scans OK

The second one is a satellite I "Added". Intellsat 18 ku. In the earlier versions of software this sat was on the list.
Again the menu is set for 9750/10600 and port 5 / 3
Note the difference in the file output. The Freqency is 10750, not 10600 and the threshold is one digit short.
This sat does not scan.

I hope this helps GT Media to fix this.

I tray loading from the 3.0 usb port and the 2.0 usb rear .And I did CA informaton 6666 cs protocol softcam setting ok please wait and then 0 add 0 edit 0 delete. the red for import and export don't appear.I tray 3.0 usbs 5times and 2.0 usbs 5times at rear and no't able to load the file. At same time the v8uhd I loadin the same files no problem.The file are 22 kb .Any answers.Thank you

Try renaming file to SoftCam.Key. S, C and K with capital letter. Remember , the GTcombo softcam file is very different from regular GTMedia models. You need to re-write your softcam file following enigma2 groups

In the GT media selling web page it is said that GT combo supports "Full Auto PowerVu, DRE &Biss key", just like V8 UHD I was expecting no to have to introduce any KEY manually.

@Tom.w Told me in this thread that those features are supported.
This means those features are not actually supported? will be supported in the future?
