Unfortunately, I don't have this file due to this video coding is used on satellite channels. If you would prefer, please test that on 130°E (namely, ChinaSat 6C), the parameter of the transponder is 4180V 30800 https://www.lyngsat.com/ChinaSat-6C.htmlIsamu.Jones wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 5:48 pmIf you have a sample of a file in this format send it and I can test it in my GTCombo

I got some broken reception on the HEVC UHD, just enough to see some of the picture. Res 2160
I will try again later with a direct cable to improve reception.
The FTA AVS2 channel reported 0x0 resolution, again I will try again later, but it looked like it did not open.

Appreciate your test. How do you think about that tom.w says GTcombo cannot support avs2 now. I don't know what happenned.Feralkiwi wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 10:23 amHi
Later today the weather cleared and I got both channels, HEVC and AVS2 open and fully clear.
130 east 4180 V 30800.
Yes the GT Combo does open AVS2.
Both are 2160 resolution.
The VS2 reports on the info banner as unknown video type.
Both opened with out the need to press the "yellow" button for the other player.

The channel I got is called in its channel name AVS@ and that and the HEVC channel both look to be test channels for the like of us to test with.xmh0511 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 1:08 pmAppreciate your test. Hi, Feralkiwi. Are you sure the firmware of your GTcombo is the latest version? Please make sure this version can decode the avs2.Feralkiwi wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 9:31 pmThe channel I got is called in its channel name AVS@ and that and the HEVC channel both look to be test channels for the like of us to test with.xmh0511 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 1:08 pmAppreciate your test. I can only assume the channel is AVS2 as it is called as the channel info says video type unknown.
I will try my V8 UHD on this channel too later.
Edited:
The V8 UHD opens the HEVC OK.
It does not open the AVS2, it sees it as AVS 1080.
I'm sending a TP recording to Tom.w
