It happened to me too and I finally realized that this happens when you export the file and then keep editing it to export it again when the job is done, this causes the channels to doubled up. After exporting you should close the program completely and then reopen it and load the latest exported file to continue editing it, in this way you will have only one copy of the stored channels on the new export or export to a new file because you are not saving but exporting and this means that the data you export is "added" to the existing data in that file if you don't create a brand new one.
Maybe Ihcsas can confirm this.
I will check this, thx for report.

At the moment real life comes first, I am currently getting a new car and have to prepare everything for the holyday, but I try my best to release a new version this week.

The programmer @Ihcsas said he was going to check this out but then went in a vacation and we haven't seen him back ever since. Lets hope he remembers it, it's a useful tool if it works properly

Consulta , han podido hacer un respaldo o exportar la lista de canales a otro gtcombo? En casa tengo dos decos, pero cuando hago respaldo DVB y lo quiero exportar al otro deco solo me arroja error.

Hello,

I am currently on vacation, I will continue to edit the tool on 01 Sep. 2021.

FreesatGTC-Editor.exe + my XML(german 19.2E)
v2.3 (GTC), v30 (GT Combo)

Code: Select all

UPDATE: 2021-07-24
- fix v30 export
- fix radio export
- Add Radio Tab with all functions

UPDATE: 2021-07-23
- Radio with SID=0 added
- v30 added
- GUI changed a little bit (think it is better now)
- fixed sat->transponder->channel dependence
Image

Info:
Please give me feedback, in case of import problems please attach the XML file, otherwise have fun with the tool!

Menu:
  • "File" import(-> Step 1) and export(-> Export XML ends up in the .exe folder)
  • "Refresh" updates the program
Functions:
  • Delete a channel, select channel and click "Del-Key" -> MessageBox is asking
  • Change ChannelNumber, you can enter a channel number in the field, if the channel number is already occupied it will be exchanged
  • You can customize almost everything in the datagrid (table display)
  • Select channel, you can adjust transponder, set favorites, adjust video, audio and PCR pids in Program Settings
  • "Renew IDs" again starting from 1 in ascending order
  • "Fix channel numbers", duplicate numbers become unique
  • Search Name, searching in Program List
  • Add Program - you can use a program to fill everything automatically, adjust the data and add it as a new channel, an open channel number will be selected automatically. Please also fill the audio list
  • You can customize the favorites list, please do not change the group index, you can customize the names of the favorites
  • Add Program automatic, you can search for a program name, this name will be determined by SatIndex, you will get several suggestions, here you can choose one and add it to your channel list. Transponder will be added automatically, if the satellite does not exist, a message will be displayed. You may have to adjust the audio and video formats, as they are currently not read automatically (V-Format: h264, A-Format: MPEG).
  • Duplicate audio PIDs are deleted during export
  • Transponders without channels will be removed (Empty transponders)
Todo:
  • Add v30 XML FIXED v1.2.0.0
  • Fix some bugs on start(if no file is imported) FIXED v1.1.0.0
  • Add DVB-T, DVB-C support FIXED -> next release
  • Radio Tab is on work FIXED v1.3.1.0
  • Satellite Tab is on work
  • Transponder Tab is on work, but you can already add transponders and change data
  • Fix/Hide "xxx" in ChannelName
  • Fix Tab-Key Index
  • Load new list support FIXED -> next release
  • Rename brand FIXED -> next release
  • Add favorite-list included channel numbers
  • Input Control (only numbers)
  • Add program, change sat -> change transponder
  • Added Satellite Position
  • GitHub Release
Hello Ihcsas, we have been without news for a long time.
Could you tell me why the program doubles the channels?

And another thing, could not the 3 xxx be eliminated from the name of the channels?

Greetings and thank you very much for your work.

I am working on the _v31 and the fix for duplicate channels, unfortunately I can not test DVB-T and DVB-C because I do not use them.

Dear administrators: I wanted to point out that with the latest firmware for the GTCombob android 9 it is no longer possible to load the channel list sorted via usb. Please can you update the Channel Editor?
Thank you in advance

I hope as soon as possible to have a channel editor that works for GTCombo. By now in 2022 I don't want to sort channels with the remote control

Release: GTMediaGTC-Editor_v2.0.0.31.zip
Version: v31
Only DVB-S/S2 at the moment

I can't support the old versions anymore unfortunately, some code has been changed and the link between Satellite-Transponder-Channel-Video-Sound has been improved.
Currently only Satellite is supported, I need a XML v31 export for DVB-T and DVB-C.

Please send feedback :D
