Have just updated to latest software for this receiver, on each update, trying out one satellite at a time on each update, we know that 27.5w works Radio and TV.
This time 30w, carried out a blind scan came up with TV 52 channels / Radio 42 channels. The receiver did not come up with any of the (Abertis) channels, did a manual scan of a few of the Abertis transponders 11222h 30000 / 11382h 30000 / 12548v 29600 all that i was getting was (T2-M1) channels, went to one of the channels, started to (progress) screen went black, then the receiver switched to a channel on 27.5w, this satellite i left in the receiver for i know works, ( for each test i carry out) (i set the dish up as a fixed dish) (this time on 30w only) dish size 110cm here in the UK.
The receiver goes back in the cupboard till the next update, were i will come back to this thread.

Update, done a complete reset of the receiver, then went about setting everything up against a 110cm dish and motor.
Sent it to 30w to carry out a blind scan, found 48 transponders, then the receiver went to put in the channels against the transponders BUT it only got as far as the first (10730.00mhz).
i stopped the scan, removed the said transponder, then carried out a (Auto Scan) of the transponders found, then found 432 tv channels.
Took a while in Proccessing the Data, on checking the channel list, i only found some of the Abertis channels which was on transponders 11302h 30000 and 11382h 30000.
I then tried one of the other Abertis transponders, what the receiver found was (T2MI) channels.
So this receiver goes back into the cupboard, until the next update.

On GT Combo, we consider that Abertis DTT(30W) channels are some kind of T2MI channels.STRETCH wrote: ↑Fri Jul 16, 2021 8:12 pmUpdate, done a complete reset of the receiver, then went about setting everything up against a 110cm dish and motor.

You need to unfold the outer T2MI channels to get the inner channles manually.

How is it that the receivers like V7Pro / V8UHD / V8X / V8 Turbo can find the Abertis channels with ease.
I still think it would be better just to make this as a stand alone receiver with 4.2.2 without all the add on app's, using the V7Pro or V8UHD as the base line .

Yes, V7Pro / V8UHD / V8X / V8 Turbo are pretty good receivers.STRETCH wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 7:35 amHow is it that the receivers like V7Pro / V8UHD / V8X / V8 Turbo can find the Abertis channels with ease.

But in the future GT Combo will be better.
Re: GTMedia Combo s/w dtd 15 JUL 2021
On checking a couple of the Abertis transponders on a few websites, the two transponders that were found, and cleared on this receiver were (DVB-S2/8PSK).
So why is it, that the other Abertis transponders with the same spec (DVB-S2/8PSK) HEVC on 11222h 30000 / DVB-S2/8PSK TS on 11347h 20858, the rest have (DVB-S2/8PSK) do not clear as they have done with the other receivers that i have.
This receiver after a lot of input from user's, should be OK, but that will be a long way off.

You mean you only got two TPs 11222h30000 and 11347h20858?
Don't worry, we will check what's wrong.
