How to move one channel from place to place

Post by Wykrynfug »

How to move channels on this tuner? When i use the green button move, they always switch places! How do I move one channel without changing places? For example I wish to move channel 4 to position 15 between 14 and 16? When I try they switch places 4 is going to 15 and 15 is going to 4!

Yes the current move function is a swap.
For a small favorites list I start with the channel I want at the top and work down.

The other option is the xml editor.

This version provided by user Ihcsas is here

GT Media version editor for xml is here.

I hope you will add a favorite list blocking function. Because after each scan all lists get mixed up.
For example, when sorts one list, they mix on all, which is impossible to set up the channels.
For me FreesatGTC-Editor.exe dosent work. XML notepad its imposiible to use

yes
We need to keep user-defined favorites list and channel order after any scanning process.

New firmware update is released and no MOVE function added.
When you release fixed firmware?
It's useless box with no function edit channels.
Channel editors are not working. Best way it is working channel editor.

Since playing with this receiver, this afternoon here in the UK, i have found that the (move) channel from one place to another DOES work.
Menu / Channel Manager, List of channels comes up, move the curser to the channel you wish to move, Press OK, on the remote, a (tick) will appear next to the number, move the curser to were you wish the channel to be moved to, ie 0523 to 0022, to get this correct, move the curser to number (0021), press the green button on the remote (move), (Please Wait) comes up, the receiver will action, then (Exit).

Hello friend,

Are you using the GT Combo? If yes, then to move single or groups of channels:

Go to Menu>Channel Manager.
Press OK, and add check mark for all channels you want to move.
Use arrow keys to move highlighter to desired location.
Then press Green key/Move. Channel should move.

Thanks,
BWE :)
