It would be nice if the KA band is now taken into account,
as twice promised
Yes I did see Ka band LNB frequencies.
Owen
Thanks a lot .
indeed with the C20.A9.1.17 update the 4 LOFs for the KA band are finally here.

Thank you for introducing the "Ka" band. :D
Version 17 introduced "After the blind scan, play the new scanned satellite FTA program"
After the blind scan is performed, the first FTA program appears. This makes it difficult to search for DX transmissions.
Please come back to the solution from version "16" where after the blind scan the tuner returned to the last watched program. The selection can be like the old / new version of the EPG.

Yes I agree, I have emailed that to Lining after my test of the software.

I also wonder how many users like the groups FTA, HD, HEVC etc on the channel list that are listed between the satellites and your favorites.
I find them a waste of space.

I've occasionally made use of the side bar list FTA, HD , HEVC etc Owen but could quite happily live without it.
I'm very pleased that the four Ka LO's have been added but I would still like to repeat my previous request for still more Ka band LO's to be added - i use a Norsat Ka Band A lnb with a LO of 17400 and also a new Extended Ku 13.4 to 13.650 lnb that uses a LO of 11800, these two LO additions of 17400 and 11800 would be very helpful and useful if you would be kind enough to pass on the message Owen.
Regards.

I suggest email or a PM to Lining or Tom.w with those details so they can add them.

I wonder if changing those values in the user DB file and reloading them would work.

Thank you very much for your feedback.
we will add the KA 17400 and 11800.
And also we will fix this issue "After the blind scan is performed, the first FTA program appears",
We will provide the solution: after the scan, play the last tuned transponder's channel include "Blind scan" and "TP scan".

Hi Tom.w
while you are looking at the LNB frequency, note that if the "Right" arrow is used to move through the LNB frequencies in the Antenna setting menu, the 22kHz "Auto" is left on for standard LNB frequencies after you pass the Unicable options.

Thank you to both Tom and Owen for their support and development - taking note and acting on the individual user's requirements to suit their particular needs from the Combo is greatly appreciated.
For Tom - re: lnb LO's - could you please clarify this so we the enthusiasts can stop asking for it, in the lnb frequency list is it possible or impossible to implement a 'User' lnb LO option as this would be really useful to us satellite enthusiasts.
Again, many thanks for the work so far
Regards.

Hi Owen
The satellite of current interest for enthusiasts here in the UK amongst enthusiasts at the moment is Turksat 5B @42East
Editing the user DB file let me change and add the new sat name , it also let me alter the LO values and stored them. Reloading the file back into the Combo went ok and the edited Sat name was present but the LO lnb type defaults to 3620. I'm not the worlds greatest computer wizz kid so i'll keep trying.

The fact that the combo just randomly loses the ability to play Dolby Digital audio is more of a concern to me. Tried deleting and re-scanning the channels and transponders. Even tried adjusting the audio setting under 'droid' Only a factory reset seems to get them working again until they drop again..

I did wonder if that would happen.
There must be a list of value in the software rather than use of the value from the user file.

I hope GT Media and Tom.w add all the values you need and or the user value.

Hello all. i have a gtmedia combo android 9 device. channel problems that can be downloaded. i tried a lot to search for channels, but to no avail. only once i was able to get the reference from the original field, but repurchase the previous reference, and the reference disappears. is there any solution. the device does not receive the channel signal. and for the record, the application that i am working on works well and the signal is very strong. i tried 2 receivers and there is no problem. only with gtmedia combo does the problem occur. i want a solution. i want to know the reason why the dish signal is not received. note. the device is updated to the latest update. thanks to all.

What are your settings etc, what satellite are you looking at, have you checked (dishpointer).
With more information, we will then be able to help.

Look into your application that is working on works well and copy all configurations: (Satellite/ LNB Type/ Diseqc ports etc

Thanks for your reply my friend.
I don't understand exactly what you mean by your reply and whether this will help me.
The problem is that the LNB signal is beamed, but there is no quality, and this is the reason that prevents searching for channels. Although LNB works fine, I tried it on 2 Resever Could you explain to me where the problem is. Thank you

Let us know what your settings are, or give us a photo/s of your receiver, showing us what you are trying to do.
What satellite are you looking at, what channels do you wish to receive and decode.
With this information, we could then help you.

Have had a look at the photo's, on the first photo, you have the incorrect lnb setting, but on the last photo you had corrected this to the correct settings.
Have you checked other transponders, to see if you get any (quality) seeing as you have got good signal.
Is your system, just a single dish setup, or with a motor, what size dish are you using, have you checked all connections etc.
Can you confirm if you can get channels, when using another receiver, just to make sure that the dish/lnb is correct.

hi my friend thanks for the replies thanks for trying to help me. For a dish it is 80 cm. And it works well, and as I told you before, I have tried 2 receivers, and they all work well, and they pick up the signal and the quality is very good. The dish is fixed and there is no motor.

With the receivers, that you use, that can receive channels, can you let us know what the transponders are, and name a few channels.
