I hope if an Android app for remote control is released we can use our mobile as remote when the physical remote is not working due to some reason.
I am eagerly awaiting. Please everyone give support.

As the current remote is connected as a Bluetooth device, if you find a remote control program for your phone you may be able to connect it via Bluetooth, just remember to "Un Pair" the current remote first, one Bluetooth device at a time.
The GT Combo software was updated to send updates to the current remote. This may update your phone app too.
