GT media Combo ,Firmware C20.A9.1.20 Bugs

Post by Feralkiwi »

Channel Auto Update added!!!!

If you go to a channel that has "Changed" the auto update brings up a message "Channel has changed, update, No / Yes".
"NO" can not be clicked on. Exit works OK to cancel.

NOTE:
Clicking yes will do a TP search with "Clear old data" YES, "Clear custom names" YES, and "MIL-T2 search" YES.

New Channel list option:

New channel list has Picons and no channel data.

This does look good, but when you press left to change lists, the open list jumps right.

It would work better if the list was centered and when you press left to change lists that opens on the left with out the main list moving on the screen.

I went back to the old channel list to stop seeing this sudden move of the list.

The new list also has no signal quality bars, but removing that is the point of the new list.

In this version, the quality of the image has decreased, especially in the subtitles. The channel list still does not work left and right to change the channel list. The infobar is still incomplete and the bitrate is incomplete. The Wi-Fi and HD or SD or 4k icon is shown. It is not clear in the infobar. The channel edit menu is not available to access the channel image. You have to select any channel to delete the channel. It is really surprising why such an ineffective menu is designed with this great hardware.

HI. I got upgrade yesterday with newest C20.A9.1.20
30% channels has been removed or stop work. like no signal. When you run new scan from blind or automatically this not fix missing channels from list.
Again new search add to total new amount. So scanner never check if this channle is already on list. So you can have same 2-3 channels and total increase.
Was trying to fix and get back manually saved channels, but when i fix few channels other are missing.
So i create TV as saved on list and add 200 channels there. When i try to add missing channels and save settings most time channel is not going to be saved to folder and other channels is going to be removed.
Sometimes i can see popup with text "This channel was changed, update...." when you press update your channel still will be same and some other channels stop work or will be removed again from saved folders. This is very bad upgrade from this build

EPG is very very small. You can't see what is played now if you do not seat closer. If you want to see other channels first you must clik on channel and that will automatically play, so this is so bad and stupid. So that EPG was never fix.
New EPG looks better as time is fixed but still you must click channel and play to see , only solution is to press change view and other channel will update as well. so you do not hve to click on it. Some Temporary fix, only few you can see, when oy umove to new page is going to big mess

What is fixed:
Sound is fixed
OSCAM works little faster (but still not work when device is in sleep mode)

Still must be fixed
EPG
OK button list
Scan Channels and adding to saved folders
Icon on some channels has been removed
same issue as before you can't see if this icon was already assign
Full scan do not list all channels so you must manually scan again by frequency

Hi

I had issues with using the file browser.
It would not open folders.

I saved everything and did a factory reset and it came right.
This I think because the auto online update did so without clearing all data as you do with a USB upgrade.

REMEMBER: before resetting,
save all you stuff, channel list, Picons, Ccam, Oscam if you have stuff there, BISS list from the Oscam etc.
You will also need to reload any added apps.
After reloading your channel list the DiSEqC 1.0 first is set and you need to change it on every sat if you use DiSEqC 1.1 first.
