Hello I can NOT RECORD using my GTMEDIA GTX unless I leave the TV on.. It will saying Recording just fine, but if I turn off my TV it will
go straight back to the Live Channel menus and stop recording... How do I fix this problem? this ANDROID I am NOT A FAN AT ALL OF THIS

I found one setting for HDMI ARC in the android system.

It may also be a HDMI ARC setting in your TV.
That lets the TV tell the GTX to turn on / off as the TV is on / off.

Another user changed HDMI cables from a higher level cable to an older cable and these sort of things stopped.

Ok Thanks I do have a 8k HDMIcable I will try an older version HDMI cable

Ok I tried everything you suggested I changed HDMI ports the GTX box was on, I tried a few different HDMI cables the same thing?

I have few other satellite boxes, none of them have this problem, why does the GTX box want go to the menu instead staying on the
LIVE CHANNEL SCREEN when changing inputs or when I turn my TV OFF?

Is the remote IR command the same as exit or home on the GTX?
Test with the TV remote with the TV remote sensor covered on the TV.

Is the TV remote Bluetooth?
