I think at least one OTA update is require for GTC. Because we can use Google services from Android 5 and GTG are using Android 6. Google can stop there services for older version in future also we are unable to use Google's updated services and app from GTC. Now almost every Android set top box are using Android 11. For only one update we are unable to use Google's updated features. So i think gtmedia should consider one update for GTC customs.

I know xda developer did this. Every custom rom has more or less BUG that's why you can't take risk when about STB. I did this for my phone with pixel experiences plus ROM( Hero2lte). So I have knowledge about this. I am talking about this because GTC has some problems like channel arrangement etc and android 6.0.1 to old version and day by day google updating there features which we are unable to get from this box. So if we get one OTA update it will be batter for GTC user. I think GTmedia should think about thi,s because they already developed there ROM for GTCombo just they have to modify this ROM for GTC.

I am not sure there will be any official response to this. It's difficult to process the fact that Google is galloping away and updating its services yet we are stuck on obsolete Android version
