GTMedia V9 Prime
Maybe it would be possible to load a V9 Prime manual?
Maybe there is a possibility to connect to the tuner via PC and how to do it?
There is currently no forum information about this tuner.

Re: GTMedia V9 Prime
hello
we will upload the v9prime manual.
By the way, v9prime is the same as v8uhd except 4k, dvbt/c/isdbt/atsc.
So you can follow the v8uhd manual befor we upload the v9prime manual.

Unfortunately, the channel list can not be uploaded to V9 Prime, incorrect file, what equipment, any ideas ??
Re: GTMedia V9 Prime
where do you get the channel list?
before open the db file, you need to Load Template, then select the GTMEIDA_V9Prime.h, then open the db file.
please try it
Re: GTMedia V9 Prime
What template in DB does not have a template for V9 Prime
Or I can't find such a DB V9 Prime.

Re: GTMedia V9 Prime
hello
please get the newest version of the db tool from viewtopic.php?f=51&t=12658 ALI_DB_Editor_Release_20210402.zip
Re: GTMedia V9 Prime
The most recent version of the db tool has no Prime selection, the only one that works is that of the V8UHD and gives an error, the AliEditor.exe has been modified but it does not fix the lists, it is that they have modified in the address 100 onwards, but I haven't wasted any more time figuring out the changes until I have to edit a list
Re: GTMedia V9 Prime

The dongle 4G is not in the menu : Net choose . Only ETHERNET; WIFI ; USB 3G are available. I've tried to plug 4G usb dongle but it is not supported. Why?
Re: GTMedia V9 Prime
Appeared GTmedia V9 Prime new bugs, started not seeing satellites always show no signal although other tuners from the same antenna show great, trying to update the software always shows that the file is invalid so there is no way to update the software, maybe there is a solution how to do it?
I tried and through the Boot menu both during the user data update and also does not update the saved data also shows a Invalid file even though it was created by this tuner.
The update was attempted with the latest June file "GTMedia_V9Prime_V165_20210623" but the same with the previous ones. The exported data also does not open as an "Invalid file".
After updating the factory settings, the satellites see but there is no possibility to restore the former sorted files possibly due to software errors they are not saved even though the file itself is. How else would it be possible to otherwise update the tuner software ????

Re: GTMedia V9 Prime
Try upgrading with the .zip file.
Newer GT Media units like the GTCombo use the .zip folder
When you find the "No signal" try looking at the antenna setting menu and the TP that is no signal.
While there turn off the LNB power and back on again.
It may be that the LNB you have is using a lot of power and the V9 thinks the is a LNB short and has tripped the over current protection.
I get this with one type of 4 port DiSEqC 1.0 switches I use, as when they first power on they power on all four ports and this over loads the current. It will also depend on the LNB type too. Some users have report this with multi port LNB's at set top box power on.
If you can not find the LNB power in the menu, try unplugging the LNB cable for a moment.
If this is the issue also look at what other things are using power, like USB disk drives etc.
Some users and myself have found using a 2A power supply instead of the 1.5A supplied also helps.

Re: GTMedia V9 Prime
Thanks for the help.
I will try to update the software as you suggest from the zip file.
I will send it to your email files you would like to check. I will also attach V9 super files from which the tuner could not restore.
Before using GTMedia V9 Prime, I used GTMedia V9 Super, unfortunately the situation was similar after saving (exporting) the backup, the tuner could not restore it.
I am adding a photo of the current software version

Re: GTMedia V9 Prime
Zip files unfortunately the tuner does not see (via "Upgrade By USB"), so it is possible to restore or upgrade only from bin files.
Only the FAT32 formatted from the 8Gb key was able to update the software.

Re: GTMedia V9 Prime
Have you tried a different USB stick?
Maybe also download a fresh copy of the software in case it got corrupted.
That your Super also will not work with the USB suggests using a different USB stick.
