V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
Dear GTMedia support,
could you tell me wich is the IP port that use the device to send the stream to Android App?
I can share the stream to the device connected to the same private network connected to V9 Prime.
I will attempt to publish the stream to external ad use I from my smartphone when I am out of home.
In need the port and the mode (TCP/UDP).
Thank you, best regards!

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
The IP is that of the box and the port is 81
Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
Thank you CAJE!
Is it possible to insert the IP URL (dynDNS:81) into settings of App?
Otherwise I need to create a VPN to obtain the internal private IP; it is not confortable connect a remote VPN with a smarphone, it is complex and hateful. It is more easy with an App setting.

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
You can get the IP information of the box from the router
Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
Yes, I can get the internal IP from the V9 Prime and from my router, address like 192.168.1.39. I can forward this IP to port 81 and from external I can call my public dynamic IP with a DDNS, like mydomain.dyndns.org:81.
The problem is that the smatphone have another public IP, not internal, and the APP seek the V9 Prime from internal IP. There is not a setting that permit to specify an address (mydomain.dyndns.org:81) where can find V9 Prime to stream SAT view.
I'm looking for to connect V9 Prime from external from my home with an internet connection!

For outside the private network you must activate it in forwarding

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
Is not a problem to activate port forwording! I know perfectly that I can forword port 81 to external.
The problem is the App; this one don't find my external public IP.
At home, where I have V9 prime, I have a ISP (Internet Service Provider) that give me a public IP (82.52.136.66) where I can publish port 81 forwarded from V9 internal IP.
Out from home, from my smartphone I have a mobile provider IP (37.159.113.169).
When I start GTShare give me an error; obviously V9 prime and the smartphone are not in the same network. The App don't permit me to set the IP address where I can find the stream (82.52.136.66:81). The problem is that I can set the address in the App where I can find the stream!

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
You cannot do it by Gtshare, you have to export the m3u list and change the private IP for the public one, which has been assigned by the router or an internet website

How can I export the m3u list? Can you give me a how-to link?
Thank you, regards.

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
It doesn't matter if it's TCP or UDP
You just have to take the list and modify the private IP for the public one provided by the Web or the router if you make a detour

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
It is a parameter of port forwarding! You must select the protocol TCP/UDP/TCP-UDP to forward.
To take the list which is the procedure? You just have to take the list and modify the private IP for the public one provided by the Web or the router if you make a detour

m3u export is option
Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
It may be due to some VLC configuration
Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
Which are this VLC configuration?
V9 Prime have not Port 7779 to export playlist?

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
It is not port 81
Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
As far as I know, I don't know any more ports, I only knew the V9Super with its FTP
Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
I have tested the remote connection from V9 Prime; it works but it's very heavy, about 9Mbps/s!
9Mbps/s in one hour are about 30Gb of data transfer!
Is there a setting to reduce the quality and amount of bandwidth required for the stream connection? It would be enough to see the stream in HD instead of FHD!
Thanks, regards.

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
Depending on the bitrate, the average for HD is 2Mbps and SD is 2.5Mbps
I find it difficult that you can lower the bitrate that depends on the image and if there is a lot of movement or image changes

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
If I receive a satellite channel with hight bitrate (FHD) it is possible to lower the output streaming bitrate and send to remote smartphone a stream in HD or SD with low bitrate?
Is there a setting who consent me to lower the bitrate in output streams?
Thank you.

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
I don't know of any method that does it, try reducing the resolution of the box

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
hi all,
I have a similar problem with V8 Turbo
the streaming .ts is very heavy and works only in the local LAN
the streaming over internet are very unstable, my connection is good (optical fiber) and the problem is not present with another streaming server (running on win 10 and dvbViewer software)
gtshare app often crashes
they are good products, with a little software improvement they could become great
thanks

Re: V9 Prime - GTShare port forwording
Use VCL that does not reach 2 seconds delay
