These portable power stations will work very well as an off grid tiny house power supply.
Having an option for a unit with NO batteries in it would help with shipping issues of LI batteries.
I need one for my tiny house!!

These portable power stations would function excellently as a power source for an off-grid tiny house. It's worth considering offering a version without batteries to address the shipping challenges associated with lithium-ion batteries. Additionally, I'd like to know if there are any upcoming models or features you're planning to introduce that might cater specifically to off-grid xxxxx
The down side I see for many of these portable power stations is that that do not pass on for use the full power from the solar panels, they just use them as a slow charging source.

I'm hesitant to buy any new GTMedia products. I have several GT Combo satellite receivers and they are all underpowered and out of date for Android OS. I just purchased the GTX Combo and it worked properly for one day. Too costly to return for a refund, so I guess I have an underpowered, cheap, old Android box minus the satellite features. Too bad that you couldn't send this design to Japan, where they know how to make reliable electronics.

What happened after one day?

Worked fine out of the box. Did the online update, worked fine. Loaded my only local ATSC OTA channel. Worked fine. Loaded my two satellites. Blind scan, all channels loaded. Worked fine, as good as an underpowered box can work. Turned it off for the night. Next morning, turned on, started the "Live TV" app and no video. "Info" button showed good strength / quality on ATSC and DVB-S2, just no video/sound. Did a factory reset. Wouldn't find my ATSC channel. Blind scan loaded transponders but wouldn't find any channels. Looking for a refund but seller wants a return first. Postage from Canada to Spain isn't cheap... I guess I'll eat the loss and learn from my mistake. Too bad, I was excited that I had a box that actually included ATSC... All of my other GTMedia boxes have DVB-T, or some incompatible type... Not sure why ATSC is so hard to include... AND, I really miss the old Google app "Live Channels"... You could have your TV, Satellite and Pluto TV, all without leaving the app (That was on my Mecool box)... I guess it was too much goodness for the public to stand! Hahahaha...
I ordered another GT Combo a few days ago and tried it out today. It rolled new keys. You are right. It was a hardware issue in the receiver. I apologize for PM you so much when there was nothing to be done about it.
And this one for the SSD not working, mine never did work too.
I'm going to try and send the GTX Combo back for an exchange or refund (eBay) and purchase a GTcombo and use the remaining money to buy a HDD/SSD Enclosure. I have two GTcombo's. When the SSD is plugged into the GTcombo USB, it records.
The GTX Combo was purchased by a friend who liked the idea of having an internal drive with PVR functionality. But after all these issues to try and get it to work, we decided it's not worth the hassle.
GT Media themselves need to come up with a fix, plain and simple. GTX combo needs a redesigned copper coloured plate. So SSDs with upwards of 2TB+ can be inserted easily, make perfect connection and recorded to with no issues. Maybe you should contact them and inform them with all these issues documented on this forum. Good Luck with the Chinese.
Two more users also have had this channel not saving issue, I can not remember where on this forum their posts are.

Thanks for the info...
I ended up cancelling my refund request as GTMedia technical support sent me a fix that did the trick... After much squinting and swearing, I'm back in business... Maybe this fix will help others...

OK so this solved the issue of channels not saving in the GTX Combo?
What service person did you get this advise from?
Was this a fix for one version of hardware only?
This says that there is a hardware issue with these units that users have been having for some time now.
if this is a real hardware fix for the GTX Combo for this issue i hope there is an official announcement here on this forum

It solved the issue of the box not detecting the video, thus not scanning in any channels.
I now have all the channels that I should. I suspect a bad component or circuit trace that would deliver the 5 volts to the video decoder chip.
Hope this helps...
Have a good day, all...
Dale.
