GTMedia V8X, Blank, Test report (27-062020)

Follow the tests performed today, using a TVC TRC Samsung 21NT, SCART> Composite AV connection to evaluate the composite video signal on old TVs.

1- The Receiver GTMedia V8X:

OBS.: Smart Card correctly insert, ok. Not Ready by GTMedia V8X.

Second Review 28-06-2020


1-Player Moveis from USB Hard Drive:
Some .avi movies are not recognized or are not played by forcing the receiver to return to the main menu alone when it is unable to play the .avi or .mp4 movie after a few seconds. Different from the V8 Nova Orange that recognizes all the same films and normally reproduces these same films that in the V8X model are not recognized or are not reproduced.


2-When they are recognized, many films that run perfectly on the V8 Nova Orange model, on the V8X are recognized but they bug the screen completely with squiggles and mpeg errors making the file explorer become embarrassed and blank risks as in the images below:





In the V8 Nova Orange and Blue ok this .mp4 and .avi.

I updated the V8X with the new firmware from 17-07-2020, performed the reset after, and the same failures reported above remain:
1- Youtube app say: No data
2- The same Movies mp4 are flicking when play from external HDD in V8X, on V8 Nova Orange play correctly, normal.
3- CA Card Reader not recognize my Smart Card SAT HD Regional Nagravision and others.

2- they are old collections stored on my HDD, and my internet has only 1MB of upload, which makes it almost impossible to send the entire movie. I will see if I can cut the film without altering just a section to send to you and provide the link via e-mail your direct, which one can i send the links to when i can make a cut in the movies?

3-This card I would not be able to send you because I use it in the original Midiabox HDTV B2 Decoder that comes with the card to open channels on Star one C2 satellite in band C. In total there are 4 channels that are opened with this card so far that is paired with the decoder, it can be used in any Decoder that is part of Sat HD Regional. So I thought it would be read on the V8X. But I know this is complex without the Receiver having the information. But, I couldn't send you because I only have one card, just and I use it. OK?

Dear Alex, tha smart card Sat HD Regional is NOT paired with Receiver, I got it wrong or the translation went wrong
I can use the smart card on another Sat HD Regional Receiver, like the model below, Kaon, that I work selling it.

The number of films recognized by the V8X is less than in the V8 Orange which recognizes all films on the same HDD.
