Hi all. Pretty new to all of this so have no idea what I am and am not doing right!
Each time I plug the satfinder into the satellite Ariel it states it’s overloaded and won’t do anything.
Why is this and what can I do to resolve?

Re: Overload issue
I assume there is no short on the dish you are testing, that other units work on that dish.
There has been a software issue that reports this.
Update to the newer software.

Re: Overload issue
the device is operating normally. however, the error message remains on the screen. switching the device on or off or updating the firmware did not solve the problem.
Re: Overload issue
That issue was solved with the software updates.
Try doing a factory reset after you update.

FREESAT_V8_Finder_20180730 dated software problem solved. 2018.07.30 all subsequent software has this problem. it is impossible to restore the factory settings when there is an error message. which dated software do you recommend

Re: Overload issue
My finder has/had that same issue. Roll back to the firmware from around June last year, BEFORE they implemented that message. Should work fine again.
They only focus on the newer Finder Meter, I fear. The older V71 won't be updated anymore, especially considering this issue.
