selfmade Range Meter Multiswitchtest

Post by pegasus07 »

I added a satellite on my receiver GTMedia V7S which I named "LNB test".
This allows me to test the function of all four frequency ranges from a quad LNB or of a multiswitch with Quattro LNB. I've scanned a transponder from every frequency range and left all but one TV channel.
I then renamed these four channels in

H-Low-18V-0khz
V-Low-14V 0khz
H-High-18V-22KHz
V-High-18V-22KHz.

So I can quickly see if the LNB or the multi-switch supplies the frequency bands.

Please select only consistent and known channels

You can also, depending on the system, extend this LNB test with DiSEqC and other switching functions offered by the receiver. Of course, it can also be used to check single or twin LNB if the receiver has been programmed in this way.
