v8 finder meter sq quality different from decoder

Hello
One my of my friend recently bought v8 finder meter. He figure out that signal quality shown at the device far below from the signal quality shown at decoder. Anyone facing the similar issue with this device?

Even after upgrade to the latest sw, still no changes. Hope gtmedia team can fix this soon.

Sim !! Comprei um desse V8 meter dourado. E não está dando sinal de qualidade em satélites CCM tipo 70w.
Agora nos transponder ACM só está dando sinal em alguns transponder do 58 w em ACM.
Agora nos transponder ACM dos satélites SES 4 22w. TELSTAR 14R 63w. AMAZONAS 61w. HISPASAT 30w. E os demais satélite com TP ACM sem chance não dá sinal.... Isso tem que ser corrigido o mais rápido possível. Por favor ! Peço por gentileza para team, olhar para os possíveis problema, a ser corrigido o mais rápido possível. Pelo nome da marca GT MIDIA que sou cliente a muito tempo. É pelos usuários deste produto V8 meter...

Тоже такие приборы купили и все с такой проблемой

Marcelo, vc lembrou de trocar a região do aparelho pra mudar de satélite... Vai ter que fazer toda hora que for apontar...

Hello all
Unfortunately the newest update (04/23/2019) of this V8 meter hasn't corrected the signal real value. It remains like in the previous versions. Please correct it in the next update because it's very important for us. Like this, no body will buy this v8 finder.

Olá Rogério ! Consegui fazer o GT MIDIA V8 meter funcionar em em transponder CCM. Porém a qualidade do aparelho, muito baixa. É só estou conseguindo locar o aparelho, nos transponder ACM do satélite 58 w nas TPS Horizontais. Nas TPS verticais, não consegui locar o aparelho. Principalmente nos satélites SES4 22w. TELSTAR 14R 63w. AMAZONAS 61w. HISPASAT 30w. Se nas próximas atualização do aparelho, a marca corrigir isso o aparelho, vai ficar show de bola...

I have received from AliExpress seller the update of 08/04/2019 for this GTMEDIA V8 FINDER which gives good signal value. So why the technical support hasnt taken this correction in the latest update of 23/04/2019. Is there a problem with the update of 08/04 which isn't available in your site? .

So, for now your finder show the correct sq reading after upgrade it with the 8.4.19 file ?

Hi admin, thanks for the latest update. Signal value increase 10-40% from the previous one. However, it still 20-30% lower from the exact value shown at decoder. Hopefully your team will release another upgrade just to refines the value to make it same with the decoder signal value. Your kind attention is much appreciated. Please refer picture below.

Com essa nova atualização o V8 finder meter corrigiu o nível de sinal baixo. Não ficou igual a potência do receptor, mas já está muito bom para trabalhar.

Doesnt mean that i am not appreciate or grateful for what admin gtmedia have done, but i still believe there is still a lot to improve. I hope my post doesnt offend anyone or admin. Kudos to gtmedia team.

Recently I updated the latest firmware to increase signal value it's has been updated and it's work better then previous one but it's advise to freesat team to increase it more to 20% to 30% as in my decoder the signal bar is showing more then actual signap of my v8 finder meter.
Hope to slove this issue as soon as possible

I am totally agree with you. I do rwally hope that soon, gtmedia admin will release sw upgrade that will refine the value to match up with decoder value signal reading. Once fixed, all user will be more happy with their finder
